The post office is completely unorganized and not professional at all! They will not forward the mail when a change of address has been entered. Recently, the mail being 1st class; had over several thousand of dollars that was in mail that went to a forma address. Now after being at a locations for 16 years saying that they will be returning our mail back to sender if it has a street address on it and not our Post Office number. When we originally opened our office they were asked if we needed to put up a mailbox for our business. We were told NO do not put a box up. Now the PO is saying that they will be returning our mail if it has the street address on it and not the PO. We are a little community and they at the PO are very much aware of our extistence and have not had an issue before.

I have a package that says it was delivered yesterday September 5 I received three of four boxes the fourth box that says delivered was not there it’s urgent that I get this box

Is there a place within the USPS Hertford website where I can tell your drivers to only delivery oversized packages to my FRONT Door (which is protected) rather than the drop and run of my garage door (side of house). In the past packages have been left near the garage and even at a rain spout. MUST I post a sign to instruct your drivers? And why don't they ever ring the door bells?

I live on Brinn Farm Rd in Hertford. I had a dare sensitive post to send out. I left it in my mailbox with flag up on 11/12. That night, I saw my box open, flag still up, and letter still in box, it was raining/sleeting, so my post was soaked. This is not the first my post was not taken or my box was left open leaving mail soaked. I'm very frustrated with my carrier since mail is not getting out when it needs to. I have mail going out maybe once every 3 to four months.

I have a post office box in Hertford, I put the check inside towards the back of the box because the post office is closed when I get off work. The person who puts the mail in the box would not take it out for the first time and kept sending it back. Then when I was finally able to get in before closing it was sent back to me saying the payment was late and a extra $22.00 was required. It had been opened and then this crazy note attached. The check was dated before the due date. I have had a box for over 22 years and this has never happened to me and they still wants to give me a hard time. Service at the post office has gone down hill fast.

I have several complaints, I live at 1331 Belvidere Road, Belvidere. Our mail gets delivered late in the evening, in winter, way after dark. when we get a substitute we get it no later than 3:00pm, so, my husband and neighbors do not understand why our regular mail carrier cannot deliver at a reaYoursonnable hour. 2. I have not received bills several times??? 3. Mail picked-up out of my mail box doesn't get delivered to addressee? Where does it go??? Your attention to this matter would be appreciated.

I have been putting mail in my mailbox for my rent check, but it seems to be over looked some how. If this continues I will be filing a formal complain at the office. I can't afford to have my mail not picked up when it comes to the home in which I reside.

complaint: My water bill from the Perquimans County Water Department has not been received for two months now. They tell me it is being mailed but I don't receive it. I live at 185 Woodland Church Road.

What is going on with our carrier? We keep getting other peoples mail and see the delivery person constantly going back and forth down our street as if they don't know what they're doing. I've also put bills out to post but the recipients aren't receiving them and we are being charged late fees. All of this has been going on about 3 weeks now. Never had this problem before.

I submitted an online request for my mail to be held from October 13 - 17, and received a confirmation that my request had been received. I returned home yesterday evening and found my mail box overflowing with mail, so much so that I could not even close the door. This morning I received another email notification that my hold mail request was ending. I am not sure where this process failed, but it definitely needs to be fixed. I am now concerned that some of my mail have blown away, or worst still that some of may have been stolen. I am sure this is a total waste of my time sending this email in, but maybe you will try to fix this problem so it doesn't happen to me or someone else in the future. We can only hope.
