We have got to request the Bolivia NC post office to staff up and PAY your staff what they deserve. The sheer number of homes is up 200% not including holiday volumes. I have an amazon package that says it was delivered to my mailbox (in a cluster) on 12/29. Have not yet rec'd it and today is 1/03.... Will hope for it today, but what is the issue and why is so much mail misdelivered to other addresses and boxes in our Avalon community? NOT GOOD.

I am SO sick of having to hunt down mail that was supposed to be delivered but the carrier fails to put it in the right box.....

Since the Bolivia Post Office will not answer phone calls I guess this is the only way to do this.I live in Eagle Creek, I haven't complained about the multiple times our mail or packages were put in to the wrong box, but this is the final straw. On 4/25/23 I opened my mail box and there was half of a key to the parcel box. I left a note that said "Where is the rest of the key?" On 04/26/23. I opened my mailbox to find a whole key and a note saying " This key was intact when left in your box! Looks like you Broke the Key in the Lock Please contact 910-253-5757 and let the POM know ! " I tried calling the number multiple times but no answer. This is very professional of the Post Office. All I want is my mail and packages to be delivered to the right place and a whole key to be in my mail box when I need it.

Finally got thru by phone and talked to Post Master, postmaster was very nice and situation handled. I would delete comment if I could but the red delete is not working.

Me and my Fiance both work in Wilmington 9-5 I had ordered a package and was told that it was to big for the receptacle/mailbox. This is a constant problem that we have had living here the past 3 years neither one of us can be home in time to go to the post office to receive the package why not just leave it on my door step. Very frustrating all I want is for my mail to be delivered.

Here's my experience. "Niece" has ordered items from my shop and sent to her Aunt in Bolivia, NC. Package is sent priority mail on Jan 18th; updated in USPS's system that delivery was attempted but returned to post office on Jan 20th. Package is now nowhere to be found. I file a claim and send a new package, with extra goodies to make up for the Bolivia's Post Office mistake. This second package was special: HOLD FOR PICK UP. They opened my package, rummaged through it, then re-sealed it, charged me EXTRA POSTAGE AND MAILED IT BACK TO ME! What the actual French toast is going on here?

Apparently they no longer answer the phone at the Bolivia Post Office, so I am posting this online. Our regular carrier in Winding River has been really good lately. However, we must have had a sub on Saturday because I got mail and packages for four (4) different addresses. Clearly this person could not care less and does not even look at the addresses and needs to be fired. Unfortunately, some of the mail was important.

Advised that package ordered could not be delivered as it was too big for the receptacle/mailbox. There was no effort to bring the box to the door as I was at home at the time. When I called to reschedule the delivery, I was informed that they were too busy to do so. My friend offered to pick it up - 25 minutes away-and arrived a few minutes before 11 only to be told the office was closed for lunch. My friend returned yet again and the employee kicked the box which included a set of glassware-over to my friend. This employee was rude and unprofessional on both occasions. I certainly hope that Amazon will sever their contract with USPS as their business is poorly represented by this vendor.

Bolivia post office - I've been expecting a package I ordered on Oct. 16. Via USPS tracking #, the last communication I got was October 24 "In transit arriving late." What exactly is arriving late? Haven't gotten my package yet. We constantly get our neighbor's mail, even though the carrier has marked our # in bold black marker in the wall of the box. If you get your neighbor's mail, do not deliver it. You don't work for the PO. Put it back in the box and mark it "not at this address." Where is my package??????????

I give them 4 1/2 stars. We have had a few problems, mostly with sub. Being a retired letter carrier I know mistakes are made, but I'm pretty happy with the Bolivia post office.

Terrible post office!! They do not deliver mail to correct addresses!! Can they read numbers or street names? I just received 4 pieces of mail for my neighbor whose street name is not even the same as mine! And neither is the number on their home!!

Bolivia post office needs tobe shut down or a whole new crew, more polite people, packages never brought to the house because it's a dirt road, everyone's mail in the park either shoved in one box sad job for the money the post office employees make

Bolivia mail delivery today about 2 pm. I was home. Received notice in mailbox that they could not deliver item because it was too large for mailbox. We have always received mail that does not fit in mailbox on our front covered porch - been here almost 20 years and all of a sudden, the post office can't find our front porch which is 20 feet behind our mailbox! One of the items was needed today and guaranteed delivery by Amazon today.

a Post office has been the worst I have experienced i The mail service from the Bolivia post office to my home has been the worst I have ever experienced in 50 years. I have lived in a dozen towns and never have I not received mail in any of them. The letter carrier and the counter person have not been helpful in resolving the problem of marking our mail "addressee moved no forwarding address".

I think it is really poor when the PO does not admit that they could not deliver. Had two Amazon packages "promised for Tuesday delivery" that were not delivered. When I entered tracking the items were delivered to the local PO (Bolivia, NC) around 7+/- AM, delivery was listed as attempted at &+/- PM. The community I live in is a gated community, the PO knows that deliveries after 6 PM are NOT possible. USPS sent a message back to Amazon that delivery attempted but not possible. I believe this to be pure BS. Why was delivery delayed 12 hours, I recieved other mail that day sometime around 3 PM. The USPS needs to stand up for what it did and did not due. In this case it is my opinion that the none delivery on Tuesday was their fault and not " package was un-deliverable". the two packages arrived Wednesday in late morning or early afternoon. The world did not come to an end due to no delivery but .........

Constantly receive mail for other addresses other than our own. Just returned from being away and had submitted a hold mail request and received a confirmation that our held mail would be delivered today. No mail after 5 days?? Highly unlikely... also mail often arrives late evening. 5 pm or later. Worst service ever!

Very very rude employee sits at the front very smart mouth every time I'm in there. Told her I was contacting the post master boss and she says good luck with that. They refuse to deliver my packages to my road was first told it was because my road was dangerous then told to wet when it's raining and today smart mouth tells me package is to big and heavy. It was a small nightstand in a box that fits on a backseat. Amazon should have never gotten a contract with usps if they can't deliver for them.

Whoever took over Julias' route here in Winding River needs to be more diligent when sorting . Two days in a row we have gotten neighbors mail because of the house number being the same. The street and names differ yet it doesn't seem to compute! My husband is having to hand deliver the mistake and we are hoping that any of our mail is not going to be disregarded and thrown out . Please address this . Thank you.
