I subscribe to the Greensboro News and Record, and it is rare that I get all seven of my daily papers delivered in a timely fashion. Of course, the Sunday paper doesn't come until Monday, but it is not at all unusual for one or more other papers to be a day late. What is the problem? It's been suggested that the papers don't make it to the Asheboro PO before the carriers leave, and if that happens on a regular basis, can't the USPS, a federal government entity, request an earlier delivery from Greensboro? Or perhaps the carriers could wait a little longer; it's not as if they seem to be in any rush to deliver my mail. In the last two weeks, it's often been after 6:00 PM before I see my carrier with his headlight flashlight trying to get the mail in my box. I have lived in a number of towns in my life, but the Asheboro Post Office is without question the slackest, most inefficient I've ever dealt with. I'm afraid to even leave a letter in my box for delivery, never knowing how long it will be out there before it's collected. It's not easy for me to get to town to the Post Office, but I do it to mail my correspondence because I have no faith or trust in my neighborhood carrier. (I'm being informed that I must give a star rating before I can submit this. Apparently, I can't indicate no stars, so I'll give it one star, but that's a bit too generous.)

I’ve been waiting on a package got a message saying my address wasn’t correct and it gave me another option for a second address has to pay for redelivery and got the same message again. This is dumb

I recently received a small package which clearly States "DO NOT BEND" on the front, however it was jammed very tightly into the mail box and was difficult to extract from the box. Leaving it wrinkled and creased.

My new mail carrier is afraid of dogs and will not deliver my packages. My dog is 12 years old and only barks when someone pulls into my driveway. Then she will go sniff the vehicle. Never has bitten anyone. Only barks. She is on an invisible electronic fence collar and can only go to a certain point in my yard. Anything past that point and she gets a static shock. I told my carrier that he could place my packages behind a bush in my yard that is past the fence boundary if he is so scared of my dog. So, he wouldn't drop off my packages anyway. Got his supervisor involved and this carrier told his supervisor that he handed my left some packages and my dog chased him to his truck. BIG LIE. He handed my wife the packages while she had my dog held by the collar. Once he handed my wife the packages she headed toward the house to store them and my dog followed her back too the house. NEVER chased the mail carrier as he had stated. He is just lazy and his supervisor has given him permission not to drop packages at my house if they wouldn't fit in the mail box. I had the solution to begin with to place the packages behind the bush but the supervisor said she may jump the boundary line. What a crock of very thin excuses not to drop off packages. Never had this problem with previous carriers and I have lived here for 30 years and had my dog for 12 years WITHOUT 1 SINGLE INCIDENT of my dog trying to bite anyone. Now the carriers leaves " missed you pre printed USPS notes without the reason why he didn't drop of packages. Right now I have 4 packages to pick up at the Asheboro post office because of a lazy employee whose has the backing of his supervisor. If I wanted to increase my chance of Covid exposure wouldn't be paying for shipping and using my own gas to go pick up packages at the Asheboro post office. Very weak excuses from supervisor and mail carrier. They both need to be laid off. Making out like my wife was lying just infuriates me. I would give a zero star review but it doesn't go that low.

I just went in the Asheboro post office to get a money order And when asked how much I told the gentleman for the amount that was in the envelope please count it to verify the correct amount since it was a large amount of cash. He told me he would need to know how much was in the envelope before he would count it. I told him I would prefer that he count it to verify how much. At that point he sent me to a different person to assist me. And then as I walked out he told me it won't let the door hit me in the rear. Not what I would expect from my local post office.

My mailbox is continually left open. I do not understand why it is so hard to close. We have had several rainy days and my mail is all wet. This is my 2nd complaint. I am tired o fnot knowing if the mail person is just not shutting the box or if someone is tampering with my mail.

please note at the Rand Plaza, (intersection of North Fayetteville Street and Central Street Spero Road) there is a drop box conveniently located in the parking lot. Since I am handicapped and unable to access walking easily I use this drop box frequently because I can drive my car up to the mailbox and put my mail in it. However now a storage building has been put beside of the mailbox and I am unable to drive up to mail my letters. I am requesting that the storage building be moved to allow access to the mailbox. Any help that you can offer will be appreciated. Thank You

Why does it take so long to receive some of my mail? When I check the postmark, it usually reflects that it's taken up to 5 days. I have missed important medical intake information and scheduling instructions that are time sensitive. Even when I lived in Hawaii, my mail usually didn't take more than 3 days from anywhere on the mainland.

I had a problem with your delivery my tracking said my package was delivered on 5/6/2016 but I looked in my box no package so I called talked to some one who told me it was my fault because I had the wrong box number funny because I have the same box number for 25 years then I was told that day they had a different driver that put it in a different box . so far nothing was done about it I should not have been treated like I was that is not the way to treat people know matter where they live or what race they are
