If you are planning to move to an area that is serviced by the WEST COUNTY post office, DON'T DO IT! My old zip code was 63146 but I'm sure there are others. The number 1 question to ask if you are moving to an area in St Louis is: IS THIS AREA SERVICED BY THE WEST COUNTY POST OFFICE? If the answer is yes, RUN! If you don't you will probably never get all of your mail - your notices, invitations, magazines, any bills that still get mailed and packages - you will never see them. I moved from the 63146 zip code to an area with a normal post office but the WEST COUNTY post office is still messing with me. They started forwarding my mail (since I filled out the correct form to have my mail forwarded). It went smooth for a couple months, and then it all got messed up. They just decided to quit forwarding my mail and they decided to give it all to the new person at my old address. This happened just when I was expecting 2 packages from Kohl's. When I didn't receive the packages, I called the WEST COUNTY post office and told them of my predicament. The lady I talked to said that she would call me back and let me know what happened. She never called back. The second time I called, I got a really mean lady who answered my call. I started to tell her my story and she interrupted me and said "hold on!" She then placed me on hold for 18 minutes. I hung up and tried calling again the next day. In all, I called them 5 more times and each time I was told that they would call me back. NOBODY EVER CALLED ME BACK. I then filed an investigation with the "main" post office, who took my info and said, (you know what they said), that they would call me back! When they didn't call me back, I called again and asked how long it might take for an investigator to call me (the recording says 2-3 business days) and I was told "at least a month." And this is the way that one of our country's best organizations is run! I think this event has actually caused me to be a Republican! Sure, private businesses aren't perfect but if they ran their business like this, they would be out of business pretty quick. I was previously neither a Democrat or Republican. In fact, I haven't voted since the 80's because I never liked any of my choices. But now, I am a Republican. And it's all because of the WEST COUNTY POST OFFICE! Wait, does this mean I will have to vote for Trump? Is there another way to achieve Republicanism?

Just called another branch because the 1-800 automated system was useless and she directed me to the West County Branch since that is the one that actually delivers my mail. The post office employee was rude and told me that I need to use the 1-800 automated system because they have no idea what my tracking number is and have no way of helping me! I told her I have a tracking number and a case number and the automated system told me that my case was resolved but I never got an email stating that. I was hoping she would be nice enough to see if there was a package lying around that went unaccounted for, but she wouldn't even do that! I don't understand the lack of customer service when it comes to the post office!!

This problem have been lingering since Sept, 2016. I opened a PO Box at the Congressional post office and closed it last Sept; however I still get text notifications of mail about to deliver to my box. I called the Post Office's manager "Allison, I believe" several time to request to stop these annoying texts but there is no end in sight. Can you help?

This location is very unprofessional at 2002 congressional drive. Please be careful when even dropping items off inside this location. We had handed our medical package personally to a worker and she not only asked what was inside the box, even though it was all labeled accurately and then somehow the package wasn't ever even scanned in or sent out. When we inquired within this location with the manager she laughed at us and said " she was not dealing with this anymore". I can't believe such individuals of such low morale are able to take positions in government workplace. It's so scary that this happened. We are now in contact with investigations to get camera footage of us actually going inside considering the employees aren't helping us figure out why the worker never scanned or sent it off. Was it stolen because of belief of medication inside considering it was lab packaging or misplaced? Wouldn't the manager want to know also in case this keeps happening ?
