My diploma that took years for me to complete was delivered today in a 8X10 envelope that said DO NOT FOLD. The postman managed to shove or bend it to fit in mailbox. My diploma now has crease marks in it. I guess the 30 seconds to walk to my front porch was too much to expect so thanks Mr. Postman for damaging something I waited so long and worked hard to get. Disappointing that is for sure.
I submitted complaint about my diploma being bent/folded in cardboard envelope that said Do Not Fold. I had to pay $30 for another diploma and it was folded in my mail box once again today in cardboard envelope that says Do Not Fold. Very disheartening. I worked on getting degree off and on for years through some hard circumstances and the total disregard in handling package is disappointing to say the least.

Most useless government agency yet. All first class Mail was to be forwarded and junk mail held. Our neighbors called to tell us our mail box is overfilled and mail is blowing down the street. First class mail and junk mail. No one will answer the phone. Not sure who else we need to contact as we are out of state till May. This should be a crime. Oh well the IRS will have to wait until we can find our documents that seem to be blowing around the neighborhood.
Abosolutely the laziest people are delivering the mail. Ordered an item, was home all day because it was supposed to arrive, they didn't deliver it and stated that access to delivery was blocked. TOTAL LIE, they were too lazy to deliver it because it was getting late in the day. I SAW my mail get delivered, nothing was blocking my drive or the box, they didn't want to drive up my driveway because it would have taken a few minutes to actually DELIVER my package. Now there is no tracing info on the website saying what is actually happening with the package now. Curious when they will ACTUALLY deliver it, LAZY PEOPLE at this office, they will not answer the phone either,
i went to lowes on mexico rd. monday and tried to use my credit card and was told my account was closed. i called lowes customer service and they said my statement they had mailed out was returned stating that i did not live there, so they closed my account. my mail has been delivered to 406 fire tree quite a few times and if their mail has been put in my mail box 406 wild winds dr. i take it over to their house. i also do not know what mail got returned either by 406 fire tree or the mail carrier but this has to quit happening.
I went online and placed a request to have my mail held from July16th thru July 25. My mail was then supposed to be delivered on July 26th per my carrier. When I got home from vacation there was approx. 4 days of mail in my box. You can tell somewhat by the wat the daily mail is typically inside the largest item from that day. The rest of it has yet to be delivered. When I called the post office they said maybe they never received my request even though I received an e-mail conformation from them. When I inquired about the rest of my mail I was basically told that unless I could verify that I was missing mail there was nothing they would do. Soooo frustrating.
How can this happen? Someone paid $7.26 to send an envelope to me by Certified mail. Sticker is on the envelope. NO ONE signed for this because the mail person delivered it to the wrong address. My neighbor brought it to me and showed me the receipt for signing was already torn off.
This isn't just poor service, this is illegal. If there is a way to contact the postmaster general this is a good reason.
I am handicapped and in a wheelchair. I live in an apartment complex in Ofallon MO. I need to have my mail delivered to my door because I have no one to help me get it for me. I am at a loss because no one at the Ofallon Office will answer the phone. What does one do? The phone service is worse then poor its disgusting.

This post office is AMAZING. They do not answer the phone, they do not wait on people in line. (they take care of passport people before they take care of people who are waiting in line.) AMAZING, This office should be closed, packages are not delivered, they say attempted when they could leave them on the porch, which is what the normally do, if they bother, most of the time they wedge it into the box because they are too lazy to put on the porch.
This is a government office, no wonder the post office is constantly being under funded, when they don't do their jobs. AMAZING
Can NOT believe this office. HIRE SOME PEOPLE. They take over half an hour to wait on people. Who actually have a number and were in line. This place is ridiculous. The person answering the phone knows nothing and can not get you to someone who actually can answer a question. I have had repeated problems with this post office and NOBODY seems to care. This is the only place I can warn others of this lousy office. This is the very BEST example of a government office that does not WORK and can't be fired.
Absolutely the worst, waited for 30 minutes to get in to the post office before it opened, and was not waited on for half an hour, and I was the first in line. These people suck, Had to wait to get receipt for package because they KEEP LOSING THEM>
Hire someone who actually works.
For the past five years we've experienced a lot of the same issues stated below. We've had our mail and our neighbors mail swapped, or not received the mail at all and had a nice full mailbox days later, things we've mailed out haven't reached their destinations, mail has been held because "delivery was attempted" even though we were home all day and no one "attempted" to deliver anything. Letter carrier is consistently arriving between 6p-8p. We've tried calling for something we've sent out that never arrived to it's destination (we had a tracking number) and have never been able to get through to anyone. This is pretty ridiculous. My dad was a letter carrier and would have been very embarrassed to work for this branch. They simply don't care about doing their job effectively.
The O’Fallon, Missouri Post Office is a disaster. Postal employee delivered package to the wrong address where it was ripped open, ravaged, and thrown on another person’s property. Fortunately, the property owners delivered the destroyed package to the proper address.
The Ofallon postal service SUCKS!!! We have had sooooo many problems.......we get mail for the same # address, just on a diff street in our subdivision, passed by when we’ve had the flag up for them to stop n tk mail, and packages saying they were delivered but haven’t. The first one they found by GPS, got it and delivered it. But I got an email saying my pkg WAS delivered on 7/21. NEVER GOT IT!!! Still as of today 8/15 I STILL DONT HAVE IT. I’ve emailed with 2 diff gals at the PO and the one said they found where it went and sent a ltr there but no reply so sent another ltr and if no reply, they will go there and get it. Still nothing has happened and all this past week NONE of my emails have been replied to asking about it. I will be filing a complaint because if I don’t get the pkg....SOMEONE is gonna pay me my money bk!!!!!!!!! This is all such B.S. and I for one am sick of it!!!!!!😡
It is now SEPTEMBER 24th and my pkg that “says” it was delivered on 7/21 that the PO actually where they delivered it wrong, it’s STILL MISSING!!!! 9 WEEKS THIS PAST TUESDAY.....I DONT HAVE MY PKG AND IM OUT THE $$$$$$ & the Ofallon PO couldn’t care less!!!!!!!!
Thank god Cottleville PO is pretty close cuz I do all my business thru there. Even sent my ltr to the Ofallon Post Master thru the Cottleville PO!!!!

Worst post office ever. Latest problem: had a package delivered from UPS to O'Fallon post office at 3 pm 4/27. It is now 3 pm on 4/30, still no package. Tracking tells me it is at post office. Thanks, already knew that. Tried calling, no answer. How in the world can I talk to someone and get my package? If this was the first time I had a problem it would be one thing, but this post office is notorious for bad service. I have received my neighbor's medications, and frequently get the wrong mail.
I have gotten ALL of my neighbors mail 5 times this month so far. I tried to be nice and leave a note telling the post person about it last week. Today I went out to find all of one of my neighbors mail in my box in additions to my own. This causes me to be very concerned that my mail is left willy nilly all over town. There are things we ALL need delivered. If delivered to the wrong address who is to say that the person it goes to will not just throw it out? By the way, answer you phone! Your recording says you are open to 6 pm. It just rings and rings and then goes to a busy signal. PS - At this point I see no reason for my tax dollars to bail you out since no one can read or is willing to answer a phone. After reading other comments it seems you are all over paid, if you want a raise and think you are worth it then do a job better than anyone else can do!
Well, a year later and the incompetence continues!
I just got off the phone with the 3rd company who said my account is unpaid. That would be car payment, cable, and internet. I have never paid my bills late. My bills are not being delivered! I received and delivered mail to just about all my neighbors, I have even found 4 'bundles' of mail for other addresses in my mailbox once that were not for people on my street! I got a Christmas card last week, Feb 8, 2022, that was postmarked January 11, 2022! Where was it for a month? At the post office? Sitting in someone's house? I am calling everyone I pay monthly and switching to ebill since the post office cannot do their job. If the post office wants to refuse to do their job. I think we should help make that job disappear. And before you start dishing out excuses...it's not COVID and you agreed to whatever the hourly wage was, don't want to hear it. If you were worth soooo much more money you could do your job correctly the first time!

I have been getting the wrong mail, that belongs to a house just down the street. it`s only TWO houses down! and a guy around the corner has brought MY mail to mail more than once, so we now have such a problem of getting good help they have scraped the bottom of the barrel and are now employing A.D.D mail carriers....Oh! look a squirrel!!!

Puts flag down and leaves the outgoing mail in the back of my mailbox. Then I have to run to the nearest public mailbox to get it out!!! Lazy, totally unprofessional. Tried calling the post office 3 times, it rings 10 times then goes to busy signal. Worst post office ever!!!!!!!
Our business has not had delivery for 2 days and the box for outgoing mail is standing wide open. I tried calling but cannot get anyone to answer. When I went up to the office to complain, I was told they don't answer the phone because it is in the back and they are out front. Who can I escalate this complaint to?
Today is Thanksgiving eve and we have high high winds.
My trash can blew over a number of times, my guy picked it up before he went to work. so it blows over again, I go out, I have health problems I cant pick it up. So my mail man brings a package to door I say is there any way you can pick my trash can up, I tried & cant get it up. He said of course. I said thank you so much, what is your name he said Aaron.. I did call our post office they said they cant write a re-port but was glad he could do it for me. Aaron thankyou so much and Happy Thanksgiving.
Was sitting in my garage, waiting for my mail bc my daughters medication is mail order and late. I guess the mailman thought a friends car was too close to the mailbox bc he just drove on by. I started walking to catch him at the neighbors, then the next, then the next... I guess he didn’t see me. Anyway, there is never vehicles in front of my house so it’s not like I’m some kind of repeat offender. Tried to call to see if I could come pick it up and it’s a 1-800 number that is automated, couldn’t even talk to a person. I better get my daughters medication tomorrow or there will be a problem.
The O'Fallon Post Office is terrible. 7 out of 10 packages are delayed for ridiculous reasons like saying attempted delivery when I've literally been home all day and didn't need to sign for package anyway it was supposed to be just a drop off in my mailbox. When they do this they do a status update claiming "Held at P.O upon customer request" umm NO I DID NOT. The next day it magically appears in the mailbox whithout me even calling and it also doesnt get scanned with an "Out for delivery" or "Available for Pick Up" Why even offer tracking when they can't even scan the packages correctly? Other times they'll get to my regional facility which is 30min away from my post office, but instead send it to the P.O. over a 3 hrs away oh and the label and address was printed off correctly by the way. Packages will get put onto the wrong vehicle altogether when they are "Out for Delivery" and not get delivered that day. BUT THE ABSOLUTE WORST IS NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE OR IT LEAVES A MESSAGE SAYING YOU HAVE REACHED A NUMBER THAT IS INCORRECT" Phone# is 636-281-3811 and I've been able to get through only once in the past so I know its correct. These employees are of no help whatsoever, even if I got into the P.O. the manager there tries to tell me my Tracking # is not a valid number even after I physically show her that I'm tracking it with their official USPS Phone App, she still denies it and says she can't do anything since it isn't a real number. Even after the tracking number says the package is there...Ugh they need to disband as a service and leave it to other reliable Mail Carriers that are actually of some help and will answer all their calls like UPS & FEDEX.
We had our mail on HOLD from 7/5/18 till 7/11/18 with a confirmation # CAH315947702. My husband received an email on 7/10/18 at 1:18 AM, stating it would start today, 7/11/18. We waited and watched and when the carrier for 692 Hawk Run Dr., O'Fallon, MO 63368 came by...he slowed down as my husband was running to the mailbox. The carrier sped up and my husband hollered at him to stop, which he then did. The carrier said he didn't have our mail with him and my husband told him we need it to pay bills, etc. and he said he would come back after 3PM today and deliver it. So I have now been on hold for 35 minutes to 1-800-275-8777 to make sure he gets it and no one is picking up my call....which was to be a 26 minute hold. What is going on? How does a carrier leave our mail with a confirmed delivery date...or was it on the truck and as he slowed down he realized it was too much to get in the box and decided not to deliver at all??? You have to believe that he looked shocked that my husband ran and yelled...so that makes people not trust in the mail service when they notify you it will be delivered and the carrier slows down and then speeds off. Can you help?
Courier claims I didn’t open mail for 10 +days and listed my mailbox as abandoned and all my mail was returned to sender. I went to Ofallon P.O. on 2/14 and they said nothing they could do, but would have mail delivered again. It’s 2/20 and still no mail. I just checked my box and they put 6 envelops (all my neighbors mail in my box). This is crazy. Please give me my mail.
I had the same experience! It continued for almost 3 years. I went in person and talked to supervisors weeks in a row with no help. It caused problems with student loans, property taxes, income taxes, never received birthday & Christmas presents, etc. Nobody even sends me Christmas cards or gifts anymore because - SEVEN YEARS LATER - they still get returned to them, correct address and all. Still sorting out the legal mess created. Will never recover monetary loss, stress endured, or isolation created.

I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in the service we receive!!! In the last month I have had numerous (3+) mail items returned to sender stating they were undeliverable. I am have POA for my mother and receive on a monthly basis important documents and need to know that I will get them in a timely manner. This is my second complaint on the service to my address. AT this point I am considering getting a PO box in Cottleville, MO where I know the service is good. I don't know what else to do.
For several months, again, we are not getting OUR mail but someone else is. We don't know who but whomever it is, is returning to sender, address unknown. This is causing a backlash of multiple problems. We are not getting our statements, so our credit cards are suspended until we notify them that we still live there. We have medical conditions in which the doctors offices mail our results. They are being returned with the same message. And so on. We have lived at our same address for over 20 years and constantly have problems getting our mail. You can't call the O'Fallon post office because they won't answer. If you go in to file a complaint, you get the generic, we'll look into it. The postal administration keeps talking about raising the cost of postage because operating expenses exceed their budget but NO ONE is doing their job! We also file complaints with the head postal office downtown St. Louis. They just keep hiring irresponsible deadbeats that aren't efficient in their employment.
I've tried to phone in with my complaint on two separate occasions, but the PHONE DOES NOT GET ANSWERED!
My complaint is: Your driver today, May 18, 2017 (and EVERY day she delivers the mail) accelerates between mail boxes as if she is trying to go AS FAST AS SHE CAN! You can hear her coming down the street and you can hear her on the street behind me. Not sure what her hurry is, but does she need to be reminded that she is driving on residential streets where there may be children present, or people pulling out of driveways? I strongly suggest that you SLOW HER DOWN.
For 3 days now, when mail was delivered to our mailbox, our mailbox door was not closed. It is windy these days and mail do get blown away. Pls advise your mail carrier to do a better job at delivering. These incidents are for week of March 27, 2017 at 9 Beaumount Court, OFallon, MO.
I have a "undeliverable" package for me there but after either no one answering or no one speaking I can not even get a person to give me an update on if my package is there or why it is saying undeliverable. UPS says to call you and after sitting working while the phone rang and then when someone answered no one would speak.
Just a warning.....do not use the self serve Kiosk inside the O'fallon, MO post office when mailing a package. I mailed a small package over 2 weeks ago and it has never arrrived! The postal employee whom i spoke to said "sorry, not sure what to tell you". I will ship all packages from UPS or Fedex from here on out!

We have not received our mail since last Wednesday, when we received it around 8 pm. (I got injured going out at night to retrieve it!) Our streets were completely clear of ice on Saturday and we STILL received no mail and have not had our outgoing mail picked up. I receive a busy signal when I call. I tried an alternative number and got no answer. This is why I never order prescriptions by mail. Because of this horrible service, I will never ship anything through USPS again either.
We have not been receiving our mail. The postal carrier sometime passes up this street. We go days without receiving any mail! I complained in person about this yesterday and came home only to discover that we again did not have mail. This is a regular occurrence. I will take this to the Postal Inspectors because I believe at this point that our mail is being stolen within your system.
I tried calling the number and it disconnected. Insurance companies want us to get medicine by mail - we'd end up dying because we don't get regular mail service.
SO my mail has been on hold and it ended today and should have been delivered today. But instead I received my next door neighbors mail instead of my mail which has been on hold for a week. So i called the 272-3811 number. That person was not very interested in helping me. It was like I will check on it--no, I want to know where it is and can you call me back. She was going to check to see if it was still in the post office, if not, call the carrier and then call me back.What's your name...did not ask for my phone number..I had to give it to her. She did ask for my street address. She finally called me back saying she has no idea where my mail is and was unable to contact the carrier. So now what????
