First of all, let me say that I am not satisfied with the Greenwood postal service. We recently had a snow storm, a fairly large one where city trucks plowed snow drifts in front of my mailbox, not sure if that is legal or procedure, which resulted in a letter being given to us saying they would not deliver our mail with snow blocking the box. Furthermore, they missed the following day (after I personally cleared the road the night prior) listen folks, snow does not give you the right to be lazy, incompetent and rude. There are no excuses for non delivery when the problem stated was snow and we are very disappointed in the service. Have been patiently waiting for an important document and need to have this resolved asap. NO MORE EXCUSES!
Greenwood MO, Post Office is the WORST Post Office/Service I have EVER KNOW! They get off on BULLYING DISABLED PEOPLE. The POSTMASTER HIMSELF, told us & emailed us, that the post office can keep our mail/packages at their discretion! Actually sir, this is a federal offense, we will report & sue! Just because there's a disabled person in the South does not mean we do not have rights. Luckily we have SEVERAL Lawyer's in our family, plus cameras surrounding our home and there are these #'s called tracking numbers, on every package. Oh, BONUS, we have OTHER proof we won't disclose here, we will just wait to see you & your unprofessional postal carriers in court soon! Have a pleasant day!
I ordered a package that showed delivery on 11/30/16 however it was not delivered to my house. I called the Greenwood Post Office and spoke with a gentleman named Greg. Greg told me that even though I live in Greenwood my mail is handled by Lees Summit but he would help me. He went and checked all the community mailboxes in my neighborhood and worked with Lee's Summit to track it down. By Friday afternoon I had the package. I believe Greg went above and beyond to help me find the package. I greatly appreciate all of his efforts.
