Brookline mail carriers are the worst. They have repeatedly put the wrong mail in the wrong boxes, can't tell you how many times I've either taken mail to a neighbor or they brought my mail to me. It's been a while since the last time and I thought maybe they were getting better, until what happened today. Was tracking a package I was expecting that delivered a day early. It showed it was left in a parcel locker, I went out to retrieve it, opened my mailbox expecting to find the locker key but there was nothing, no key and all of the parcel lockers still had their keys in them. I opened the first (unlocked) box and lo and behold, there is my package. The carrier "forgot" to lock it up and place the key in my box like they are supposed to do and anyone could have walked off with it. They aren't just lazy, they are incompetent. Complaints are made and nothing changes, guess this is just the way things are done now and the kind of service one can expect. Terrible.

After a two week “hold Mail” I went to PO to pick up Mail as I had indicated on the “hold” card. At the window, the clerk, without looking at me, continued to look at her computer screen and asked, “how May I help you.” She went to our Mail slot and returned to tell me the carrier had taken it to deliver. She also indicated the carrier offered her apologies, stating “she had misread the card.” I told her there were items required for backing that very day, and she indicated I could go an additional 8 miles and pick it up at the Republic Post Office. This happened once before, I didn’t mention it because there was nothing time sensitive in the Mail the last time. I’m disappointed in the carrier service, and perhaps suggest that employees are pressured to make errors due to time constraints.

We live in Prairie View Heights , Battlefield - the last 2 weeks, the postal delivery person has not returned the "attention clip" back into the mailbox after pickup/delivery. We do not know if the pickup was made or not - and have to go out very late to "retrieve" our mail, only to find it was picked up. Please have the carrier replace the clip back in the box, so we know it has picked up. Thank you
