Postal Locations

When I lived in Elk River my mail delivery was awful. I got other people’s mail. I moved and my mail was not processed right. The VA sent me new glasses at my old address in Elk River by mistake. It should of been sent back to the VA because I moved over a year ago. The VA didn’t get them back I retired as a Postmaster 15 years ago and this would of not happened then. The USPS has gone down hill.

Just called and was told that I could pick up my mail or wait until they may have someone to deliver it, and not sure when that will be! I have never seen such a lack of management or care of what your customers are experiencing. No wonder the USPS is such a joke.🫤

This is the second time in less than a week that a key was left in my mailbox and nothing left in the parcel box people need to start being held accountable for not doing there job correctly!!!

Mail service has been spotty at best for the last 6 months. I was told our route, 72nd Court NE had a mail a carrier quit. I see "Now hiring" signs at almost every post office I go to, is an effort being made to hire replacements ? Packages say "Out for Delivery" on my phone text messages, but sometimes they do not show up that day. People order things online because they need them. Is anything being done about the poor service on certain Elk River routes ? It doesn't really seem like it.

My mail delivery is spotty. I might get it for five in a row then not for 3-4 days. The latest was no mail on Thursday and no mail on the following Monday. But I had mail on Friday and Saturday. This is really frustrating when waiting for important mail items.

NO MAIL FOR 3 DAYS THE HEAD OF THE MAIL DEPARTMENT SHOULD BE FIRED FOR INCOMPITENCE

Hi - just wondering if the mail is being delivered - is there a problem. We tried to clean around our mail box - it's like a block of ice. Sorry!

the Mail delivery has been very slow and non-existant in our area. I have had packages out for delivery for 3 days and watch the mail truck drive by our house hoping that it would actually deliver our packages--nope, it's still shows out for delivery. Hmmmm. Mail is now being delivered every few days to our mail boxes and sometimes once a week. Should I assume that when a package is out for delivery for more than a day that the item has been stolen or taken by the driver, especially when their own USPS tracking shows that they are still awaiting delivery scan....... nope, still no packages....Also Amazon should cancel their contact with USPS since USPS is not a reliable delivery option and is not meeting the standard of Amazon. DO NOT use USPS for your deliveries, go with UPS or FedEx--at least it will be delivered on time and in one piece

We've always had issues with the Elk River post office, first, they kept delivering our (ST) mail to Lane, and LN mail to Street. Now they consistently deliver our packages across the street. Our address ends with 59, theirs 69, it's literally posted on our garages, how does the Postal Courier miss this, don't you have to be able to read to have that job? We called and complained and our mail got held for a week like it was our fault they can't do their jobs. I'm literally sick of this ___T. I have never seen such incompetence from a post office before.

its seriously ill. you have a great mail lady who does her job..BUT 6 out of 8 months your mail and late charges are adding up and the cost alone and all the post office says its a trainning rout seriously its easier to go on face book than dredge the phone recording or file a suit. someone needs a new job.its just pathetic id rather have covid than deal with some applicnt who cant do their job. and i feel really bad about the woman who does her job well...dont shoot the messanger sort of speek. get you _ together im tired of mail that cant even make it to the other side of my city......

I paid to have my address changed. Called the Elk River post office. Now my bank call and said they got the mail back UNDELIVERABLE. WHO THE HELL DO I CONTACT!!!!!!!

I've had great service with the Elk River Post Office. My carriers arrive consistently each day. If I have more mail than my box will hold, the carrier will bring my mail inside and hand deliver it to the receptionist. The carriers are friendly and it's rare that I get a piece of mail that shouldn't be delivered to me.

I have a mailbox (Elk River) and I know that a package was on the route truck. Before the carrier even passed my business I received a notification that the package could not be delivered. This carrier has always been lazy and unfriendly. I have a mailbox so I expect Saturday deliveries. My mail has not been dropped off since this carrier took over the route a few months ago. This is frustrating and unacceptable. The package contains a Christmas gift for my wife.

We recently experienced, on (9-20-20) , either a mailbox break-in or negligence on the carriers part!! The mailbox door was left open during a long weekend. We are scrambling to figure out what could be missing!!!! We care for an elderly person, and pay Her bills of which typically arrive about this time of month. Not too mention our mail?? We realize you can’t find the mail, however this has happened more than once! Thanks! Ken

Bad service . 2 times I have had issues with a postal carrrier saying that a package has been delivered even showing in tracking it has been delivered also showing it was given to an actual person at the home and the packages do not actually come until 2 days later ??? How can a postal worker show they have delivered something and then actually drop it off 2 days later !!! Rediculous

Terrible!!! Haven’t had mails delivered all winter! Called them never called back never got any answer never got any notice! Amazing these people have jobs!!!!

The Elk River Post Office forwarded my mail to a house I don’t own yet. Even though the message I sent the post office said to forward mail in February 2020. I was supposed to get bills and other important mail. Now I don’t know where my mail is.

What do they mean by "DO NOT BEND" Well the mail carrier cannot read! End of story

I never, I mean never get my own mail. I always end up with my neighbor's mail. OR I will get NO mail, not even my own. I enrolled in the informed delivery, and I still do not get my mail I am supposed to on the date of email. Mail carriers (in our neighborhood) do not read any of the addresses on our street.

My prescription has been sitting in the ER Post Office for 4 or 5 days now.....according to tracking by my Pharmacy. What the heck is going on here!!!!!!

I had a package that was left outside of my house even though the tracking said it was left in my locked mailbox and because it was left outside it was stolen. This place sucks

We have been having serious problems with our rural mailman in elk river,missing mail, will not deliver packages,wrong mail etc...for over a year. I am now at the state reprsenitves level trying to get the problem addressed. If anyone else is having problems start complaining and don't stop. If you do nothing the problem will never get resolved.

Thank you to our awesome mail lady who leaves us doggie treats when she drops off packages. We absolutely love her visits!!
