My review voices a concern. When I visited the Wayne Post office on 3-23-22 @ 130pm, the post box outside that recieved outgoing mail was stuffed to capacity. I know the box was to capacity because others mail was still in the chute. So, I tried calling the Wayne office @7347281765 and the phone ranged for 15 minutes with no answer. I soon hung up and posted this review hoping for contact from an employee at the office with a resolved solution to my concern.
Sept 9th at about 2:35-2:40pm i came in your post office to mail to bday cards to my granddaughters in new boston mich. They had not received them. Come sept 16th at the same time i went to see why they had not been delivered. I was told that they have to go thru a whole postage process thru the mailing system and that my cards would be delivered longer than a wk. Now its sept 19th and still no cards. I want to know how long it takes to go from wayne to new boston mich. And further more each card held money in it. If i feel that there were any foul play with my girls bday cards im reporting it. Maybe u should check your cameras cuz i was the only person in the lobby at that time on the 9th other than a man walking out. And i was the only one in there on the 16th speaking to the young man. United States Post Office of Wayne Michigan is limited to outgoing mail and the post office box service. Sadly the Wayne Post Office is no longer delivering mail to residence in Wayne, Michigan - when they did delivery service was excellent! Now mail to our homes in Wayne, Michigan is being delivered through the Westland Post Office carriers, so complaints about delivery service need to be directed to the Postmaster, United States Postal Service, 6300 N Wayne Rd

I've noticed that at least one day out of the week M-Sat. my mailman doesn't show up. This becomes frustrating because I am waiting on important mail. I know 2 days in a row my house was either skipped or the mailman just never did our route because I put our flag up to return a piece of mail and its been sitting there for 2 days with the flag up. I had a suspicion about this happening now I know it is!
This post office has lost my bill payments and Christmas card with a check to my son. I go here to make sure that my mail does not get left at the bottom of a box. Guess I have been very wrong doing this. I have a card with a check in it that is still missing..has not gotten to Washington DC nor has it come back. Do they just throw your mail away??? It's been almost a month now.
