What good is informed mail when you don't get that mail. And why is the phone never answered at the Southgate post office

I’m so sick of your lazy carriers!!!! I keep my door locked when the big door is open, however when I see the mail carrier I will close the big door! 1-5-23 I saw the lady walking I closed my door before she even got to the driveway, she proceeded to slip my house anyways!!! This has been an ongoing process with the mail carriers! I’m tired of it! You get paid to do a job!!! DO IT!!!

All the regular carriers do is complain because they're scared their asst will do a better job then them, and the postmaster discriminates against people of color and people over 40. Worse place to work and that's exactly why the service sux

I hope the private delivery companies put you out of business. You are all are terrible at your jobs.

Stop all y'all dame complaining and try getting out there and delivery mail and I bet none of y'all asses will make it.

Had 2 pieces of mail L"ost" in the past year.

I cannot get into my mailbox in a condo complex went to the branch office and told them. It has been 3 days. I thought maybe the lock was frozen so I kept checking throughout the day. I reported it and then asked if they could bring mail back to office so I could pick it up. The girl was rude and said the maintenance guy can't open the mailbox. I said no tomorrow when the mailman comes to fill the boxes ask him to clear my box and bring it back to office so I can pick it up. I am waiting for payroll check. SHE WAS LIKE I DON'T THINK HE CAN DO THAT I DON'T KNOW. SERIOUSLY!!!! So I called the customer service line. hahahahah. They said the wait time would be AN HOUR to talk to someone. REALLY. So for shits and grins I waited because wow I really need my paycheck. I waiting an hour and half and noone ever answered. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

This is day 7 at my house with no mail. We have a new mailman. You here of all these stories about throwing mail away now I have to wonder. I work out of my home so I always have a ton of mail? On Poplar between Eureka and dix!

EXTREMELY disappointed and angry. It is 9:48am and they hung up my call TWICE and I am trying to figure out if a package is coming to my place because i didn't get a tracking number from Amazon

Why dont you answer the phone? I need to find out when my package is coming so I dont have to stay home and waist this beautiful weather. It says its there. And it should have came today. Please let me know if I can just come down and pick it up. Thanks!

The Southgate post office has had my package for two days and it is still sitting in your office. When can I expect to receive the package that I was supposed to receive on 6/9? Tracking # 92748901113482553232245057

It says on the website 1000-300 walk.ins for passport. when i got to the branch (southgate) between 230-300, Lady was like we stop taking walk.ins @230, itz sayz on the website 1000-300 walki.ins! Was she just being lazy or You guys need to fix that shzzzzz. And stop wasting people's time. Cause we dont get paid on our time goin to the postoffice. You guys get paid while you guys stand around. I drove 30mins just to get to that branch so i can avoid the crowd. No wonder this branch isnt busy. Cause you guys got your time mess.up.

Phelps and Howard area-just heard we may be losing Eric as mail carrier-we can’t let this happen! Besides him being the absolute BEST, he’s the ONLY carrier my dog doesn’t bark at. I am totally serious

We live in the Southgate Meadows subdivision (orchard and Reeck subdivision) for the last 2 years we have received inconsistent deliveries (some after 5pm) or none at all. We see different mail staff delivering Are we the last on the schedule? Due to the extreme cold weather this past Wed. and Thurs., I can understand no delivery..... but why wasn’t mail delivered on Fri and Saturday as well? No delivery for 2 more days???????

Does the USPS still pick up outgoing mail from residences?????? Just curious, because we moved to Southgate in September and since then, we receive mail, but every time I place something in the mailbox to be mailed, it never gets picked up. The flag is raised on the mailbox. We have video of the mailperson totally ignoring our mailbox with the flag raised indicating the presence of outgoing mail. Has the mail service changed?????

I live in Canada, however I have had a box here for many years, and I am here to say, the service and the staff here are the greatest. I wish we had the USPS here!!!!!

spoke with Dan at southgate post office today. WOW! i almost forgot what customer service should be. he was absolutely amazing! he went above and beyond to assist me and acted like it was no big deal! thank you dan!!

I'm not receiving cards through the mail - I can provide four instances where i know that people have sent cards to my address and they were never received.
