June Brakel, Supervisor at the Kewadin post office, 'visited' today to tell me I was to leave our driveway gate open as she didn't want to wait for it anymore. It takes 30 seconds to open. She is the only postal employee to complain about it, and rudely. I cannot leave the gate open as I have dogs (rescues), which she also complained were out "all the time". Untrue. If she or any employee doesn't want to deliver a package, simply leave a pick-up slip. The parcel she delivered today could easily have been left in the mailbox. Unfortunately she backed into one of our trees when leaving, at which time she said "we definitely are NOT waiting for the gate". Not my fault she didn't look where she was going. In addition, it would be appreciated if the mail carriers would observe the speed limit on our road, which is 15mph. I seriously doubt Ms. Brakel was driving 15mph since she's in too much of a hurry to wait 30 seconds for a gate.
