My elderly mother needed to have her mailbox moved closer to the door of her house in Grand Ledge 48837. Post master suggested a new location,a new mailbox installed by her. I must congratulate the postmaster and carriers on efficient delivery of her mail to the new box on a consistent basis. Our family is relieved that her situation is much safer. Thank you GL postal.

GL post office needs some better supervision. I have informed delivery, asked why I did not receive the item. Real snotty, said that just because I get an email saying what should be delivered is not the case. Today this has happened again. Several pieces should of have been delivered, no mail. Sped right by the boxes on the route, not even stopping for outgoing mail. What’s is wrong? Isn’t delivery of mail what the post office should be doing!!

I have tried to reach someone at the Grand Ledge Post office to no avail. My husband and I sell on Poshmark quite frequently and were given a letter to give the post office that says we are allowed to ship priority mail and priority flat rate mail. Even though we had the letter we were denied service. We frequently get Poshmark items in flat rate priority boxes and have asked others who sell on that platform if they have any trouble with the boxes and they said no. Why does Grand Ledge seem to be the only ones refusing flat rate boxes for Poshmark when the prepaid label on the Poshmark postage says to use with any priority mail or flat rate box. Please explain the discrepancy. Also on another matter, i have made some homemade hand sanitizers and need to get prior authorization to ship them I read, however since no one answers the phone would you please be able to send me the information I need to contact someone about shipping out? Thanks in Advance!

Live at 310w. South street grand ledge. We keep getting other people's mail, neighbors. Mail carrier steps in our flower bed instead of stepping up on porch. How hard is it to step on the porch and not in flower bed or reach over flower trellis and bend it

The Grand Ledge MI post office is a piece of work. The apt building I live in has small enough mailboxes to begin with. Add to that, being the one with the "lockbox" taking up half my space. Week after week 3 or 4 times per week, my mail is MASHED IN and destroyed.! I tell people not to ever send me cards cuz they are always torn up or crinkled like an accordion because the piece of crap carrier cant take 2 secs to stand the mail up behind the lock box. Personal mail containing personal info is also being delivered torn open with personal info is exposed! Why is this REMOTELY okay with you all? I have called the local postmaster twice and sent 2 or 3 emails with pics of the damaged mail, and the response I received every time was "If you dont like it, purchase a PO box"! RIDICULOUS! Last I knew, if I were to continually damage someone's mail, it would be a federal offense! Also, I pay taxes like everyone else, I shouldn't have to pay for a post office box! Will someone PLEASE do something about the lazy piece of crap running that facility?Maybe also get some better training for the dang carriers!

We moved to Grand Ledge from Eagle and today our mail was neither picked up or delivered. This is the second time in one week that it has not been picked up or delivered. Both times happen to be a Monday. We are very disappointed in this service and never, ever had that issue in Eagle in the 32 years we lived there! I've tried several times to call and no answer. Not very good customer service!

My apologies. I was able to get in touch with the post office and they were able to locate our mail carrier and the mail is going to be delivered yet today even though it is now getting dark. Thank you for your hard work during this busy time of year.
