My carrier has not delivered my mail in over two weeks, saying my mailbox is obstructed by snow and ice. This is not true. I drive up to my mailbox every day, roll down my window, open the mailbox door and find no mail. Just today my friend was stopping by so I asked her to pull up to my mailbox to retrieve my mail. She had no problem doing that except (again) no mail was delivered. I've had numerous conversations with both the post office clerk as well as the Postmaster. They support their carrier's assessment of the situation even though I've proved him wrong. I have COVID and cannot get to the post office to pick up my mail. Besides, home delivery is just that, home delivery. My tax dollars are paying a carrier's salary that he isn't earning. The Bellaire Post Office is the worse I've ever dealt with. As it looks now, I may not have any mail delivered for the next month because they believe their shady carrier.
I have lived in this rental home for 4 years, but the last past year whenever I have something delivered I get a message saying there is no House. I have several orders placed to be delivered within the next two weeks. I don't know who my mail carrier is, but can you educate them that there is a HOUSE AT 907 NORTH BRIDGE..... But, my mailbox is in the back of the house on PARK street. PLEASE, If I have paid for postage, can you make sure the mail carrier is on track? 907 NORTH Bridge street. Dan Jessen My drive is off of Park... I need some kind of notice that this will happen.
This post office has stopped mail delivery stating that my mother’s mailbox, that they have used for 15 years, is illegal and must be moved across the street on a state highway where the speed is 55 mph. I called the post master to ask for a supervisor and her name and she hung up on me. Seriously this is the type of person you have running the post office. My mother is 93 and cannot cross a highway to get mail.
This is second day that I have not received mail--even the newspaper that I subcribe to--. Letters to be mailed have not been picked up. When I called the Bellaire PO, no one answered at 3:35pm and the "memory" on the answering machine was full. What's going on?
