To join every other review. This place sucks and anyone who works here is just stealing a paycheck, as well as packages.

I am unable to reach anyone at the post office to request that the delivery person close the top of my mail box after putting mail in. Maybe this is not part of their responsibilities? The mail person will not stop to talk but simply walks away if I even say hello. Consequently mail gets snowed and rained on. Government workers!

The service in OOB is terrible. I have lived in several locations in Maine and this is by far the worst. Nobody ever answers the phone at the post office, the mail is not delivered everyday, and I’m still missing a first class letter regarding my dad’s passing that the informed delivery said would be here yesterday. I’m sure nothing happens when we post here, but feeling frustrated at-least it allows me to vent. USPS has gone way down hill across the US but it’s in the marshes at OOB.

11/27/2022 I have not received any mail since November 22, 2022. My computer indicates that some of my mail is out for delivery but I continue to experience much delayed mail delivery. Where is my mail? Is it at the local OOB post office waiting to be picked up? I have important medical related mail waiting to be delivered. What poor service!

I did not receive any mail in 4 days, which is very unusual. My husband is not well and it is important that all mail is delivered. I am expecting medical prescriptions, and etc. tried to call and naturally no one answered, then get a busy signal. If they are not delivering every day, we should be aware of this.

Terrible in-house service. Does the staff know that you have to pick up the phone to make it work? Much more likely…they just don’t answer their phone calls!

This post office seems to have so much trouble getting things done correctly. I put in a notice to have my mail forwarded. It very clearly stated that the forward was for an individual. They forwarded the mail for the other resident as well as my mail. It cost me $26.00 to mail it back to him because he needed it immediately. I then forwarded my mail for a year to an APO box. They randomly stopped forwarding my mail after 8 months. I have no idea why they did that and now I'm waiting to see if they forward my roommate's mail again. I don't understand why they have so much trouble at this post office. However, the mail carrier who delivers to my house is very helpful and professional. It just seems to be the people who work inside the post office who can't get things done correctly. Also, they never answer the phone.

Been calling but no answer. Are you able to give out someone's po box #? We keep getting mail for Deborah Guimont at Salvation Army OOB but she is not a member here. Coming from CMP and returned to them once before but still sending it. Any ideas?
