I think it's absolutely insane that I'm waiting days for this to just leave the center. not to deliver but it js to leave. that's insane like what could you possibly be doing there. I want my package by tonight or you all will be receiving a law suit indefinitely

As I write this, I continue to wait on hold for the 5TH HOUR with their local Consumer Affairs office (410) 347-4330 to address why a container (with my Priority Mail package) has been sitting at their facility for 20 DAYS. I continue to call their receiving office to request an alternative/direct phone number...but it just rings and rings.

I don’t know the what is happening to my package since 3days now and I can’t get any update yet … it’s something important and you can’t even get a trust for once to deliver a good service , please I want to know when my package is going to deliver on some minutes because it’s really important….. you all are failure.

On 28 dec 2021, I visited the Linthicum Heights Post Office @ 515 S. Camp Meade Rd 21090-9998 to buy some stamps. The lobby was empty when I entered and I was greeted by the woman behind the desk w/ "What do you want?" I have had extremely negative encounters with this woman many times over the past 2 years that she has worked at this branch. But on 28 December, I asked to mail a package in a 8" by 11" manila envelope and a card to Scotland. This clerk weighed the envelope and mumbled something that I didn't hear. I asked her to repeat herself, but that fell on deaf ears, as per usual. She gave me the stamps, and then gave me more stamps for that airmail card to Scotland. I said, "They usually have those round airmail stamps." Without looking in to her accordion file folder, she said, "I don't have any of those." She selected some US stamps to put on my airmail card, saying "You can use regular US stamps on an airmail card." This woman has such an attitude when dealing with most PO patrons, but because I had a run in with her in August 2021, she treats me with 'special' attitude and behavior. The incident in August revolved around the fact that ask asked why she felt the need to speak to me in such a harsh tone. At that, she just stared at me. The I said. "Would it hurt you to be enice and use please and thank you." Immediately she said "Please and thank you.", and kept repeating it over and over again. At some point in this encounter the manager of the Office walked into the work area right behind this woman. I don't remember if I received the stamps I needed, but I got out of line and waited for the other clerk who was working that day. Before I got out of that line, I said mostly to myself, "This woman has NO idea of what customer service is all about." "This woman is a piece of work." "Why does the manager put up with this kind of behavior?" I did receive my stamps, etc from the other clerk. I received them without attitude or rude behavior/speech. Whenever I've dealt with this particular clerk, I leave the Post Office with a headache and knowing that my B/P is higher than when I entered the lobby. I remember this clerk and another clerk started. Their behavior was with attitude and rude remarks. Plus, they were always in the back talking and laughing, etc. I spoke to the manager at that time about giving them more customer service training, sending them to other classes, and writing a reprimand for her service record or HS record. He looked at my and shook his head, and said, "It would almost impossible to send both of them to another branch or write a reprimand." He looked very discouraged. He also looked tired of that kind of services and/or complaints. There is another woman (approx. 50 yrs old) who works at this branch who is wonderful!! She knows her stuff. This clerk I'm reporting is young (Her age is between 22 and 26 yrs old.) and could give a sh*t about her job. Her # is 15. The receipt # is 840-52100045-1-4870662-1. The UFN is 235346-0528. In my humble opinion, I think she should be fired or sent to a sorting facility to work the 12 midnoc to 7 am. Honestly, she would be much better at a sorting facility that doesn't loose priority mail. If you need more information, you can reach me with the information above. Thank you. Every time I send a package to my granddaughters in Ellicott city from Boston and the packages unfortunately go to this Linthicum post office center, a black hole swallows them up. What the heck is going on in this place? Half the time my packages never arrive and one time they were both literally destroyed. And no, stop the Covid excuse.My granddaughters are now eight and 10 and this is been going on for at least five or six years. You are a post office disgrace. Shame on you. This year my granddaughters did not get their Easter presents. And God knows where they are right now!

Why do my packages keep getting missent to the wrong city when they leave this facility? Isn't this why they have a destination address and zip code on them? Today's package came all the way from the other side of the globe with no issues, only to get missent from Linthicum Heights. This has happened multiple times from this facility.

IT DOES NOT TAKE MORE THAN 30 DAYS TO MOVE AND RECEIVE MAIL. I SENT A CARE PACKAGE TO A SOLDIER IN KOREA WHICH ONLY TAKES 2-3 WEEKS TO RECEIVE. I publish a business magazine and am appalled that distribution was split from Linthicum to Philadelphia and NewJersey - 98% of addresses are local. The tracker says that you have most of the undelivered copies. Who can I talk to? It says comments are not read by postal employees - so what good is it to complain here?

What's going on here? My packages have been sitting here for a month. Some of those things are gifts. There is also mail that I was expecting that is probably sitting here, too. I am deeply upset that there is no answer as to what is happening.

Placed an order for items that I wanted to give my son for Christmas. Placed the order on December 13th. Received a message on the 16th that it arrived at this location and it hasn't moved. I live just over the MD/PA line. I am 2 minutes from Northern Baltimore County. It has been 3 weeks and it shipped priority mail. Needless to say my son is disappointed.

Seeing all of these posts doesn't make me any less disappointed that I spent more $$ for Priority postage than the gift, which included freshly baked treats when I sent it on Dec. 12 and it is still sitting in Linthicum. It's just sad and really crazy that it just sits there with NO update. What's the point of text or email updates when no one is pushing them out? Agree with other poster who suggested other USPS locations nearby could help them get things moving?

I had no idea all of this was occurring. I wish I did. My husband passed away recently and he was an only child. His mother lives in Brooklyn/Linthicum County. I paid to have an engraved photo necklace of him for her for Christmas. This was the only gift I gave her this year. Due to Covid I decided to pay and mail it. Maryland is a 2 hour drive from NJ. My package went from NJ o n 12/14, by way of NY, to Philadelphia, then to Linthicum by 8pm on 12/15. Since 12/19 all it says is on its way. They promised a call back days ago. Never called. Thanks, no gift for mother-in-law and not sure whether to try and reorder. OHH...and she only lives about 8 blocks from there. smh. At 90 she could deliver faster. This is unacceptable! IT'S NOW NEW YEARS.

I shudder when I see that my package or priority mail arrives at Linthicum. No idea what is going on. Had a Registered letter from overseas sit there for weeks and then they sent it back to France. They can't read their own Zip codes? One package now sitting there since Sunday morning Dec. 27th, and we only live a few miles away. I've had mail reach them and they send it on to Virginia, Texas, DC, etc. then it comes back to these idiots. Just shut the place down and route the mail elsewhere in Maryland. This place sucks, I wrote my Congressman about it.

i legit placed multiple orders the 20th of november for christmas gifts....... its now 6 days from christmas and my gufts are sitting at ur facility.... no one answers the phones, answers the claims u put in for missing packages.... im so confused as to whats happening it will almost be a month late. and the “arriving later then expected ur package is on its way to the next facility” is such bs. i just want answers and my damn packages

my priority package has been sitting here for 9 days, no updates. my local post office says all i can do is file a claim, but the postal service is backed up. is anyone even working at this facility? even a decreased workforce, packages can still be processed by receipt date. i can't believe that this is the essential service that we pay a premium for.

Package has been sitting for over 10 days without any updates USPS says 4% of the work force are out due to COVIT, here’s my math; when that 4% gets back to work fire the other 96% nobody will notice!

I was contacted by my local Postal Office after submitting a find my package ticket. I live in Northern Virginia. They told me that because of Covid, my sons Christmas gift that has been sitting in this facility for a week will not be here in time for Christmas. Santa will be wrapping up a picture of my sons new clothes so at least he has something to open on Christmas morning :( Not sure who else to contact? Stay healthy everyone!

Package hasn’t moved since 11/28/20. Today is 12/15/20! You can’t reach anyone by phone! Has law enforcement checked to see if everyone is okay up in there? There’s no scan updates! NOTHING! This is not normal, nor professional! Packages are being held hostage! We need answers!!!!!!!!

My nieces necklace arrived on December 6 and has still not made it to my house yet. Today is her 11th birthday and really hope her gift arrives soon. I’ve also tried to call every number I have found and no answer or you talk to an automated message. This is getting very frustrating. And unfortunately, I will never order from anyone who uses USPS as their delivery carrier.

It is 11 December, and my package has been sitting at this distribution center since the 2nd. That's 9 days! I do not understand. Did they lose my package? Will I ever receive it? People rarely answer the telephone and when they do, guess what? "Your package will arrive later than expected, but it is currently in transit to the next facility." Ummm....yeah, right. If I did my job like this, I'd be fired.

My Nordstrom order has spent 10 days in MD. The bulk of the time in this Distribution Center. Ordered before holiday rush? Finally released to California. Why is there such a log jam in this Distribution Center? This is a very sad situation.

I dropped a pkg.(eBay sale) off at the Glen Burnie PO on 11/27. It’s now 12/9...and further scans or movement. It’s at the Linthicum Heights hub for sure. Can’t even get a live human being to talk to. What do I do now...besides cry...and wait?

The location where packages go to die. No less than 7 packages currently at this location, all of which have been there from 7-10 days. I get delays with the pandemic and holidays, but this is ridiculous, and this particular facility always has issues no matter the time of year.

I mailed a large envelope via priority mail 9505506663560295374345 on October 21, 2020. My mail has been stuck IN TRANSIT AT THIS DISTRIBUTION CENTER SINCE OCTOBER 23, 2020 with no updates. As of today, my large envelope has still not been delivered to its destination. It has been well over two weeks, almost a month!!!! The destination my mail is supposed to be delivered to is less than 30 minutes from my house! I filed a case through USPS's website and they told me they will investigate and get back to me. However, I haven't heard a response for 5 days already from them.

Okay, once in a while Linthicum Heights, MD has been slow in delivery, but this latest delay of 4 separate packages from separate locations not business as usual. I suspect this is now due to the NEW Post Master General's restructuring of the postal system. So much for improving service & efficiency. :(

When ever i track a package and it goes here, it always just sits in this location for a few days. only some of my incoming packages stop here. I am now waiting on a package that has been tracked to this location and has not moved in over a week! This is the only location in shipping where packages stop and wait for days and days. I expect to receive packages in a timely manner, its not even Christmas which is the only other time packages have been delayed this long in shipment. what is with a week long delay at this location? Just ship the package i should have received a week ago please.

A priority package and insured has been sitting at the USPS- LINTHICUM HEIGHTS MD DISTRIBUTION CENTER for over 6 days. Not sure why it's taking so long! This is unacceptable!

My priority mail package left Orlando, FL on Aug 22nd and quickly made it to the MD post office sorting facility the very next day. It now sits in the Linthicum Heights MD distribution center since the 23rd. So much for Priority Mail. Base on my internet searches on this USPS Location, It should be shutdown for not being able to preform at a reasonable rate. I hope my son receives his medicine before what he has runs out. I too will be using alternative service for future mailing needs.

I had a package sent from Brooklyn, through Jersey City, two weeks ago. It made it to this distribution center, but then the next day it said it arrived back in Jersey City, where it sat for several days. Monday the 24th, I got a message that it was back at Linthicum Distro Center. I got one last text on Tuesday saying it was “arriving late,” the same message I got every night it sat in Jersey City. I emailed and the canned response I got was that it was because of Covid-19. I’m sorry...I’m understanding of delays, but my question was why it got sent back to New Jersey. That has nothing to do with Covid. I never...NEVER buy myself anything that isn’t a necessity. Now, the one thing I allowed myself, something more expensive than I’d normally buy, is just languishing at this distro center and I can’t get a straight answer.

What are my options? I have been waiting over 2 weeks for one package. The tracking indicates its in the Lithicum Warehouse since Aug. 17th. Are we able to go to the lobby to pick it up? When you call the local number its busy. When you ask to send the information for the claim, the text doesn't go through.

I’m not sure what’s going on but my packages have been weeks late!!! I almost hate when I see stuff that goes through USPS because if it stops at Linthicum I won’t get it in time! I have actually filed cases for not getting my stuff not only a day or two late but weeks!! This is unacceptable!

And why do I get 3 different alerts/messages telling me that my package has left your facility on 3 separate dates & times. I don't know what kind of math y'all doing, but I thought a package could leave only once. SO WTF ARE YALL DOING AT THIS POST OFFICE.

Been waiting for an important 2 day priority package for 5 days now, stuck with your first class mail as per the lady I spoke with at my local post office. Do I get a refund from usps for wasting money on 2 day shipping? Also can't get through to the phone lines, its either a robot or busy tone, I need a live human to speak with asap.

I would love to know what goes on at this (Linthicum Heights) post office location. I have had multiple packages that arrive at Linthicum Heights, only to languish there for up to a week or more before continuing on to the next location. This is the only location at which this happens; my packages are at the other post offices for less than a day when in transit. And please don’t try to blame this on COVID-19. This post office was providing consistently terrible service long before the coronavirus epidemic. So, what’s the deal?

I don't know what is going on in Lithium Heights. I have informed delivery, and for the past 3 days it is showing my package leaving Lithium Heights Distribution Center. I am supposed to receive the package in Ohio today. How is that possible if it left Lithium Heights on the 25th, 26th and again at 5:25 AM on the 27th? There is something terribly wrong at Lithium Heights Post Office.

Maybe the United States postal Service might want to listen to how your employees talk to people that call in because they are very rude I've had two experiences with two very rude employees

Same issue as the rest of the reviewers. My priority express delivery guaranteed by 3pm today has not arrived and it is 8. If I do not receive it by morning, I'm going to write the mayor and admin fed offices. They need to be investigated and closed down. For their sake, they better deliver my package by morning. Can also contact district attorney for guidance on methods of formal complaints.

I sent an express package to Elkridge, MD on 8/26. It was supposed to arrive by 3 PM on 8/27, still in transit at Linthicum Heights. Where is this package?

You all suck! My package did not say deliver to the mailbox for the building. We have a doorbell, Webcams, and someone at our front desk and your stupid driver delivered my package to a locked mailbox that we don't have the key to. You have one job, deliver mail, and can;t even do that right!

My package was supposed to be delivered on March 28, 2019. To this date it is still there.

My package was delivered to this location and that's where it stopped. No one answers a phone at this location either.

My package entered the Linthicum Heights, Maryland facility on January 7th. It was supposed to be delivered on January 11th. When I inquired as to its location they changed the delivery date to January 10th but gave me no information on its location. It is now January 26th and it still has not been delivered. Its sort of lost in the twilight zone. Do they steal items they like? A lot of bad reviews on this postal location.

It has been a week since my son's passport/visa were supposed to go through this facility overnight and arrive at our home. We do not have it, our local post office does not have it, and like everyone else writing here the tracker says in transit. We have lost thousands of dollars due to missed/cancelled flights abroad, tuition for the school abroad he cannot attend and I am physically sick from the run around and ignorance of the USPS. It is truly demonic the way people are treated.

This sorting facility got hold of a letter of mine and my mother's that hold very important documents.They received it Jan 02 2015 and it has been over 29 days and they never delivered them.I now have to pay over $1000 to apply and request the documents I lost.I went to my local post office just to get a very unprofessional and lame answer.They weren't of any help.This sorting location is pathetic and the worst.

Two packages from China for a custom job. Tracking says:"undeliverable as addressed" but the address is correct...! WTH? The post office sucks! How hard could this be? No wonder UPS and FedEx is growing by leaps and bounds!!!

My online tracking says a package left this usps at 6:30 am its 8:30 pm now and the tracking thing still say in transit to my house i live thirty minutes away how hard could it be?

Dreading having to use this post office for our passport. Never leave there feeling good about PO personnel interaction.

I sent a custom made guitar strap to an artist in Maugansville, MD .. sent it two day priority mail on 2/18/14 - supposed to be delivered on 2/20/14 - tracking has been "hanging" - saying it departed this Linthicum Heights sorting facility on 2/20/14 and was scheduled for delivery on that date. Here it is - 2/25/14 - getting no satisfaction from contacting the US Post Office phone number, or emails sent in. A lot of time and care went into making this guitar strap - just sick thinking it might never find it's way to this artist's shoulder ...

Horrible office. If mail comes through here, good luck having getting it delivered. They will probably drop it off somewhere else. I had mail marked as delivered but no they didn't deliver it to me, but they were nice enough to deliver my neighbor's mail to me(I know clearly marked 6 and 7 on are doors are so hard to tell apart /sarcasm). Shockingly I have no issue when my mail goes through the Baltimore USPS.

the women who answered the phone told me to call glen burnie's post office if i wanted to ask any questions. I wasn't calling with some weird request so she obviously didn't feel like talking. poor service.

the one in linthicum has a woman who is a Bi*** she is the worst woman I have had to dealt with in all my life. She would not listen to me talked over me and lied. She made me never want to use the post office. On my birthday day of all days she made my day so awful I will never use that company i'd rather go to the fedex thats right around the corner, and get better customer service
