I have never written to the postal service before yet I find it must be done now, Amanda at the Tyngsboro office went above and beyond in assisting me today. I entered with a package and she informed me that I could save by using a different box. She was as helpful as anyone could be. She is a great example of going above and beyond the right way to treat people. There should be more people like Amanda in this world

The building sign for the Tyngsborough, MA Post Office has been damaged for over 6 years. Is there any chance that it could be repaired so as not to look like some backwater Appalachian town? It looks shabby and does not inspire confidence in the USPS.

I needed some assistance today and called the Tyngsboro Post Office and was very pleased with the help I received. Mike and Pam went out of there way to help me resolve my Passport issue. They were very nice and professional. thank you Pam and Mike.

Today I received in my mailbox a book which I purchased as a gift for a small child. The book is soft covered but backed with cardboard in the envelope to keep it flat. However, the mail delivery person squashed it into my mailbox in such a way that one whole corner is smashed and the other side is bent practically in half. This is unacceptable. Walk a few steps to my front door instead of ruining a child's gift! How would you like to receive your mail like that?

I always go to the Postal Center USA to ship my packages. Most of the staff at the Tyngsborough Post Office are humorless and sans personality. My local postal carrier is so incompetent. I had a card in my home's mailbox to be picked up. We did not receive mail yesterday because of the weekend storm. However, we did receive mail today. The carrier lowered the flag on our box, but did not take the card to be mailed. This is not the first mistake he has made. We get our neighbors mail regularly. Their name is not even close to ours. If I made as many mistakes in my job as he does, I'd be fired by now. I will continue to mail items from work and the Postal Center USA.

I think I know the man you talk about. I've been there few times. He always looks serious, and not smile at all. He should be doing other job, not customer facing job.

I made a trip to the Tyngsboro Post Office, March 5, 2013 at 3:45pm to return an item in the mail. I have never done this before,so I asked the man behind the counter if he could help me. It was a plastic bag that needed packing tape and tape for the label. He was upset because I didn't have my own packing tape. I told him I would take it home and do it myself if he would tell me what to do.He finally put the two pieces of tape on it and then told me don't let it happen again. He was very rude. I have been a resident of the town of Tyngsboro for sixty years and will not do anymore business there in the future. Other post offices in the area go out of their way to assist people.
