Today my sister, who is vision impaired and has to wait for a bus to take her everywhere, went to the post office to mail Christmas packages. She needed a place to sit because she had to wait for the bus to come back to pick her up, so she asked for a chair. The teller said the postmaster asked her to wait across the street, which she cannot cross by herself, so now they are just ignoring her. Bah humbug to you postmaster!

The postmaster is kind of a jackass. You can't really say anything to him about anything. He just talks circles around you and never really addresses the issue. I had a problem with them leaving packages at my front door that is literally right on the street. (I live on a very narrow back street) He just kept telling me that they shouldn't be doing that and that that isn't what they are taught to do. Okay but no comment as to what he would do to resolve the issue. So I had to write a note and post it on my door. So now if someone wants to steal my package they know where to look first! And today I called because I've been getting other people's mail which leads me to wonder since I've gotten a decrease in mail for myself lately maybe mine has been getting delivered elsewhere too, I put envelopes out to be picked up and they weren't, and just an all around huge difference in when the mail is getting delivered lately! He just got very defensive and said the carrier was new and I'm insulting the carriers intelligence. I don't know how pointing out things that have actually happened is insulting someone's intelligence but okay! Then he hung up on me. I ended up meeting the mail carrier shortly after this phone call and honestly he seems like a good kid just trying to figure out the new job but the postmaster is not very helpful at all and pretty unprofessional. But what can you do? Guess I'm stuck with this service!


After tracking my package all morning it finally arrives at 12:30 at southbridge post office so I am very excited to go to the local post office and get my package I wait however so the shipment can be processed I arrive at the post office at 3:00pm and ask the women at the front desk to get my package as I have been notified by fedex tracking that it's there and of corse she gives me hell doesn't want to check for my package and wants to insist that it's not really there and say fedex might not even deliver today which of course it does after dealing with this b**** for 15 minutes I leave without my package and see a fedex delivery truck as soon as I leave. Needless to say their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.
