I am very disappointed that my carrier didn’t deliver my mail to my curbside mailbox for several days because a grill was near it. This grill in no way prevented him from reaching and opening my mailbox…as I did this for days looking for my mail. It was not directly blocking it. What this grill did was require him to take one step out of his mail truck and to open it. I wonder how he reaches the mailboxes that are on houses without stepping out. His complete lack of service and laziness caused me to not get mail for days. In my 25 years getting mail, I have had absolute great service. He needs to do his job. Holding up someone’s mail for days is just not right. Nancy Drugg. 7 Sumpter Rd Burlington MA

I must be very lucky because I have the best mailman ever! Chris makes a point to know who lives in the neighborhood and to correct any mail mix-ups prior to me having to ask. He doesn't try to shove packages into the mailbox. If they don't fit, he brings them to my door. He cautious not to come on my lawn with the mail truck and looks in every direction prior to proceeding on his route on Lexington Street. Very pleasant and professional! Thanks, Chris!

I asked for signature on a parcel $3.05 charge. Deliberately got charged $8.25 for the return receipt, the employee refused to do anything else, bur $8.25. 9589 31 4457 9326 2866 76. Please cancel the return receipt and refund me $5.25. I can come in person, or mail @ the return address provided. Ella Boazova

Shouldn't the U.S. Post Office be trying a little harder to clean off the roof tops of their vehicles. I realize they are not service trucks using highways, but 30 to 40 mph can cause a release of snow and ice . Not a complaint, but setting an example is the concern. I appreciate how well the service had been otherwise.

Delivery service is abysmal! The plow knocked over my mail box but I manager to prop it up so that it is open and can receive mail. BUT there's been no mail for the past 2 days because the postman apparently doesn't feel like bending over OR bringing my mail to the front door. Because I can do nothing about my mail box until the ground thaws in the spring, does that mean no mail until April? And no one answers the phone when I call 781-270-4449. What do you suggest I do now for medicine deliveries? US Mail ain't like it used to be....

Very unhappy with the Burlington Post Office. Today 2/17/2017 had to run up the street chasing the postal carrier. He did not stop at my house to deliver/pickup mail, because his truck black bumper had hit ice, ice that is left by the town snowplows. So, I returned to my mail box to retrieve the mail that I was sending; in the mean time the driver goes out of his truck and walks all the way up to my neighbor's house to deliver a package that did not fit in their mail box. Question: If he could do that, how come that he could not get out of his truck to leave my mail and pick the outgoing mail? His excuse, those are my orders and I could be fired if I did otherwise. What if I were waiting for medicines that sometimes get delivered by mail? Do we have to wait until the Spring?

To Whom It May Concern,Upon coming home to my apartment building this evening from work, I was appalled to discover a USPS truck parked in the handicapped parking spot in front of my building. As someone with a disability that relies on these spots, not only was I offended, but I was hugely inconvenienced by the drivers lack of judgement. When I went inside and asked the driver to move it, I was even more shocked to hear him reply "oh, they're always yelling at me to not park there", which indicates this is a common practice. He then said he would move it, but didn't actually go outside to move it.The truck number is 2213132, and this occurred at approximately 5:30pm on July 23rd, 2014 at Kimball Court apartments, located at 8 Kimball Court, Burlington, MA. I do have a picture, you can view here:https://www.facebook.com/photo...I sincerely hope that measures will be taken to ensure that this will not happen again in the future.CheersJosh
