For the second time in a week I've not gotten my mail. I get an email from the USPS regarding the mail that I am to expect in my mailbox today. But no delivery. When I do get mail it includes my neighbors, which I then have to deliver. What the heck has happened to the postal department? I'll not try calling the local post office. But from previous experience, that will also be of no avail.

What has happened is they gave early out retirement packages to all of the senior workers that were making $26 hr. + and hired 100's of new replacements ( still a decent wage $16 an hr.) with little or no knowledge of how the system works. So sit back and relax they should have it down in a couple of years.

I getting annoyed. i have told the postal service 2 or 3 times that ALL packages are to come DIRECTLY to my door so they dont get lost. TWICE this week we have had IMPORTANT things end up lost bc they dont communicate with parcelpending and let them know that I have a package.... therefore i cannot get the stuff. BRING MY DANG PACKAGES TO MY DOOR NOT THE FREAKING MAIL ROOM!

I wish my postal delivery person would learn how to read names and addresses. I am sick and tired of getting my neighbors mail and am certain that my neighbors get mine from time to time. They are not as generous to return the mail to the correct address as I am. When will we ever receive someone competent enough to do the job we are paying them for? Kindly respond to my email address and I will graciously tell you where I am located. Until then, I will continue to place the unwanted Mail back in my box with notes to the postal carrier to learn to read. Very frustrating since it is becoming a daily ritual!

I have been teaching at Oxford University for 20 years and have returned to South Bend to retire as a Notre Dame alumnus. I visited the Edison Street Post Office today and was grossly embarrassed at the poor level of care of the physical facilities! The landscape against the building is a disgrace and the authorities should be ashamed and embarrassed to present a public building in such a state of disshevelment! Please attend to the cosmetics of the building.

I was helped by an employee named Rosemary on Thursday, and she went above and beyond to assist me with package shipping. It was extremely busy and hectic, but she still took the time give me the best advice on shipping something extremely fragile. She was awesome!

Tall, curly haired new kid, who was in training, said “tough shit I guess you should have gotten here earlier” then called me an “asshole” as I was walking out the out door, when I got frustrated that they could only do a 2 day delivery on a package. I’ll be filing an official complaint, but people should know this is an example of what to expect at this post office.

The Covid-19 virus caused delays with my travel plans that impacted the hold that I placed on my mail at the Edison Park Post Office. My call to the post office was answered without delay directly by Christine Bodish, Supervisor of Customer Services, who resolved my issue expertly in a very friendly and helpful way.

Mediocre to poor service on mail routes out of this location. Delivery times sporadic, often fails to pick up outgoing letters placed in mail box. When complaining to branch re: lack of service response is ho-hum usually consisting of manufactured excuses that have no validity. Phone number is never answered and often disconnected.

This branch is terrible, I recieved a "TAG" for a letter that needs a signature. My wife was home and the LAZY driver never got out to come to the door. WTH typical government employees.

I have found out that all of my mail is being returned to sender. I am away from home during the summer but go home every couple of weeks to collect my mail. I have done this for three years and have never had a problem until this summer. I have now put a hold on my mail but know i have missed a lot of mail.

Second time post office stated that a package was undeliverable due to incorrect address. Really?? We have had the SAME address for 12 years. The same address was on all of the mail we had delivered today. The same address was on a package that was delivered by the same post office the day before. But today? Nope. Guess my house fell into a black hole after the regular mail was delivered today.

People in office are very helpful and friendly. We apparently have a new carrier, not at all good like the one that just retired. I provided a change of address to have my mail forwarded this summer. I did online and dropped off a card at the Edison, SB station. it's been a week and my mail box is overflowing. My neighbor who noticed it got my mail. Definitely a carrier screw up.
