I have not received my mail in almost 2 months I have called and talked to the southport office. Still no mail. The mail carrier on this route of my apartment complex got mad and threw all of our mail in front of door now I receive no mail . No resolution yet. Will be going to media If no resolution. I have missed important t bills and paychecks because of this mail carrier

Terrible! I had to go to the post office as my apartment gave me the wrong mail box key. I provided my lease agreement and they STILL provided me keys to the wrong apartment. Now, I have to take more time off of work to go back down there and hope they don't mess it up again! If it doesn't get resolved, I'm contacting a lawyer. I have received no mail since moving to Indianapolis and have received late payment fees as a result of this branches incompetence. I see why people want to shut down USPS

Called to ask a really simple question and as soon as i said "Hi i have a question" i was hungup on. So i called back and got the same woman, Robbie she said her name was and I again said " hi i just called and i think we got disconnected" and she sighed and said "really" in a disgusted tone and hungup on me a second time. I waited about 10 minutes and called again and thankfully got someone else as im sure she woudlnt have connected me with a supervisor and i made a complaint and got my question answered.

I have not received mail since Saturday, February 13th. I know the snow may have caused part of it, but roads are passable now.

Our mail has not been delivered in two days yesterday I’m sure it was because of the snow storm but today the roads are clear ?

Our mail is consistently being delivered very late in the day. Yesterday at 7:30 pm.....today it's 6 pm and still no mail delivery. This is the norm-not the exception. We used to get 'consistent' mail delivery around 3 pm every day. Now you expect us to believe that you can deliver mail in ballots when you provide such poor daily mail service? There is a reason why customers like myself use FEDEX or UPS for package delivery service. What a mismanaged organization!

We have lived at the same address for two years now and this is the second time that they have stopped delivering our mail without notice. All of our mail has been returned to sender because not only do they not give you notice they wont hold the mail either. This is insane it should not be hard to put mail in the mail box, or to give notice if they are going to cease service! Its incompetence on an unrepresented scale.

Not a review I'm getting sick of my mail carrier not leaving my mail there's always enough room for him to get to the mailbox he said that he doesn't have to leave it if he has to back up he said it was on his Dash I looked and it did not say that it simply says try not to backup if possible nothing stating that he does not have to leave the mail if he does have to back up I am sick and tired of this BS I think he is just too lazy to pull up put it in the mailbox and backup 5 feet and turn and go around a vehicle there is always been room for him 2 deliver the mail no one else has a problem with it have any of the other carriers that I have talked to

We have had several pieces of mail returned with the yellow tag saying "no such address". We have lived at this location for 44 years. Why is nothing being done to improve service inspite of all the negative complaints? When will service improve if ever?

Not a review, but a comment: I placed my mail on hold (I've done so many times) Starting Mon Aug 26 & to be delivered to my home Fri Aug 30. Nothing came the 30th or 31st. I'm expecting some time sensitive items, since you're closed now, hope someone will see this before mail starts up again Sept 3rd. Thank you!

This is the saddest excuse for a post office. How they get away with doing the things they do is beyond me. I live on a street that the block runs on both sides of a cross street. So both sides have the same hundred block. We often have sub delivery people and they for the life of themselves can't figure this out. At least 4 times a month, I don't get my mail. When I call the Post office, IF and WHEN they answer, they say I have to wait 3 days to say it's missing. I have to wait 3 days to correct their mistake. Not to mention how rude they are. I've had checks sent back to sender saying wrong address, non deliverable, return to sender, it's baloney. I'ma going to calls a news station and get a story going on them. I despise this place.

I know it's a government agency but the service at the southport location has to be the worst of any postal offices I've used, and I ship and receive a lot of packages on a regular basis. The employees act like you've asked them to dig a ditch if they have to move more than a couple feet from their desk. What are you going to do I guess, government jobs don't seem to exactly draw the cream of the crop in the chosen profession.

We were not home for the first delivery attempt of a piece of certified mail. We rescheduled the delivery for a later day online and were home ALL DAY. No one ever rang the door bell or knocked on the door. There was no notice that a delivery attempt had been made. We called later in the week to determine what happened and an extremely rude postal employee said that we should have been home on the day we rescheduled for and that they would charge us money to bring the letter to our house again. This level of service is absolutely unacceptable and I regret not catching the name of the employee! This goes against the three delivery attempt policy that is mentioned on the notice and is clearly an attempt to avoid having to deliver the letter. If I acted like this at my place of employment, I would be fired within a week. This is not the first time that we've had issues with this post office. Honestly, I'm looking forward to the day that this terrible location is shut down and we can get our mail from another post office.

This is the worst post office, I just had the postal carrier tell me he couldn't open the mail box and get a letter out because he didn't want to get wet. He also refuses to shut the box. They are so rude and do not answer their phone!!!!!!!!!!!! There's our tax money!! And they want to raise the rate again, maybe they can buy an umbrella!!
