I’m old. The post office use to be the most helpful and reliable government organization. It’s terrible now. Mail service is unreliable, inconsistent, and full of inaccessible policies,

we have nor received any mail at all since Friday Ovober 14. 002/

Haven't had mail delivered in two days, but yet my wife gets e-mails stating we have mail being delivered. Can't get any answers because no one answers the phone.

I was told by a usps employee it costs a dollar to put a change of address in and had to be done on line. On line costs 29.95. Idk. Why

Why can't these people answer their phone? Trying to find out about a package that was not delivered because they did not come to the door, just put a pink slip in mailbox. Pink slip says item will be returned to sender in a couple of days!!! How can they return something I've paid for and want? I'm handicaped and can not leave the house without help. Care giver comes once a week and gets mail. Can't afford her more often! How can I even have it redelivered? Why have a phone if you are not going to answer?

Horrible service! My package has been just sitting in their building for 5 days and I’ve been trying to contact them about getting it myself and no one has answered back! It’s hard enough to get out but this has been absolutely no help! Whoever is in charge of the phones please fire them and get a regular person in there who isn’t scared to talk to people! Clearly this person is a problem to the city!

This is crazy over a week since I got a package says undeliverable because no secure location I live in Roosevelt center we have buzzers all they have to do is buzz my door I was here both times they tried delivering and now says it can’t be redelivered I can’t go down there as my husband works and I have seizures so no way to get to the po . Very frustrating

It is aggravating when two packages are supposed to be delivered and the reason they aren’t is because “no access” Really?? You managed to put my neighbors mail in my box, you had access then. I’m thinking it’s because it was a Saturday. Someone needs to look into who has been driving the route where I live.

Tired of this bullshit! Husband and I return a "mail forwarding form" each spring to be in effect until Labor Day. He leaves in May; I leave in June. Some of his mail(1st class) is forwarded, some is delivered here. But, he at least gets it (we think). Some of my mail gets forwarded, most of it is returned to sender stamped " not deliverable" or "moved no forwarding address". Last year this bull shit almost cost me $137,000 when my investment quarterly report was returned "deliverable." I haven't returned my form this year yet but the incompetent assholes have started returning my mail; my neurologist had medical information returned. I have tried e-mailing the postmaster ,using the address on the p.o. site- it was rejected. Saw on news site today that the p.o is supposed to receive a xxx million dollar bail out. For what ????? They don't do there job.

I don't know who need to hear this, but... GET YOUR SH.. TOGETHER!!! I can't tell you how many times my packages have been delivered down the street!!! You guys have ONE JOB!! GET IT TOGETHER!!! 🙄

99% of these reviews that are accusing the post office are for rural routes.(possibly all). The RCA'S are not paid that well and have no benefits until they bacome career employees. (regulars). The RCAS have a high turnover rate, but I agree the customer service, when trying to get ahold of the PO seems to be lacking.As a carrier this makes me embarrassed.I will try and relay this info. to management. Not sure if this will make much of a difference but I will do my best to help correct this situation.The Elkhart PO needs a person who job it is to answer the phones. This was done by the passport clerk in years past. Not sure if there is a single person who job it is to answer the phones. If not this situation needs to be corrected.

Your delivery of packages suck ... UPS transfered 3 package to USPS (Elkhart) to deliver One was out for over 3 weeks before I received it. How can it go from N.Y to CT. to Mich. to Elkhart and sit for a week and then go to Ill. to PA. to Mich. AGAIN before I get it ? My second package you had for 4 days before I got it and NOW AGAIN I had a package come from N.J. to Ill. to Elkhart where it sat for 8 days(12-2 -12-08) and then your dumb butts send it to PA. were it STILL sits(12-10-2020). I sure as hell hope it gets back to me before Christmas since it is a gift for my grandson. And you guys want a freekin bail out ?? Hell no. This is why you guys lost all business. I will try everything in my being NOT to use the USPS. I am so over you guys I could spit fire . From here on out if a company uses the USPS I am going to refuse business to them. #boycottusps

At ADEC, 19670 SR 120, we are having very poor delivery service. Some days no mail picked up or delivered, some days one or the other but not both. No answer when calling the Elkhart Post Office and no response to email. Bristol Postmaster said he warned us when we went to a box on the road that this could happen and he was certainly right.

Can't contact the post office and haven't been able to for 2 and a half weeks. Never received a call back despite calling 10+ times, it just rings forever then says call cannot be completed.

Sad to say once more the mail on our street is being delivered to the wroing homes , the carrier even had a box to deilver and I went out to get it while she was still at my box in her truck she gave me the mail from one hose down the road all of the mail was theirs I really dont under stand how one can read a 1737 as a 1731 with completley different names, I now wonder if since I got all theirs if the rest of the street was delivered one house off I walked over to my other side neighbor and informed them of this incase they have all mine IT IS now wonder this postal service is loosing money. lucky all our bills are paid on line now we can not trust the postal serivice any longer..... Please Please, hire people who want to work and can read, I am you are we all are paying for a service that is shotty at best if I did this poor of a job I would be fired... and the internet is doing that to the postial service.. !!!

We live on Wade St. Bristol, IN 46507 and have not received mail for a week. I have heard others on our street saying the same is true for them. I am wanting to know what the reason is for not getting our mail.

Your employees can't read. They deliver mail to the wrong street to a house with the same number. Someone is keeping that mail. You my not want me to walk out to the mailbox to take care of this situation. They won't want to hear what I'll say. You must hire uneducated idiots that get paid way to much. I could do a better job. At least I can read!!!

1- 7 - 19. I Im trying to locate my mail that hasn't been delivered for a week. I have been on hold for over 45 minutes on the toll fee number and have just tried calling my local Elkhart In. Location. Unfortunately, the "MAIL BOX IS FULL" on the local line. I would appreciate a TEXT regarding mail delivery at my location CR 130 Elkhart. Thank you!

We live on a state road in Bristol and have received zero mail in over a week. No W2. No Amazon. No bills. No checks. No junk mail. NOTHING. In over a week. While I understand the temps last week, made it necessary to keep carriers in on Wednesday and Thursday, just holding onto our mail for over a week, with no notice, no place to pick it up, is completely UNACCEPTABLE! Sure am glad I shoveled the mailbox out, day after day, for all the ice and snow to melt before I actually get my mail.

No mail received in 7 days. I live in a small mobile home park and have had trouble with our mail carrier for a long time. Last time i got mail there was 4 differant people's mail in 1 mail box. The carrier is extremely rude and almost ran over my feet once. Complained my mail box which is new was not big enough. Mine is bigger than every one else's. She doesn't want to get out of her vehicle to deliver anything. Evan sorry we missed you orange slips put in my mail box when i was standing out side and saw her. I never get anyone to answer at the post office and voice mail is always full. All my neighbors have complaints also. Some one please do something. We live in Jimtown school district. .

I receive informed delivery notices daily so I know what is being delivered every day. My postal carrier has gotten in the habit of bundling my mail and delivering it sporadically, not daily. I was suppose to have delivered some very important documents days ago!

We have terrible service on rural route six . We either get no mail or it comes after 7pm.Thats terribly late for carriers to be out. The other delivery companies are getting through. It’s most likely a shortage of help but I order a lot and I’m tired of getting things late including Amazon!

An January 14 my mail was delivered at 7:15 pm very dangerous for employees to work at this time

90% of the mail im supposed to be receiving has been returned to sender saying invalid address and my mail person is rude and I get other peoples mail but when I try to talk to the mail carrier she gets really rude and drives off

They are pieces of garbage here. They never pick up their phones and when they do it's an extremely rude "what do you want" If you don't like your job get a new one. If you aren't going to actually work get a new f***ing job. If you order Christmas presents, which I did a month almost 2 months ago. Dont rely on Elkhart USPS because you will not get it on time. Even one of the Female employees said "im not being rude I'm just telling you what you don't want to hear" after asking to speak to her manager she half a**ed helped and was very very rude. Will not be going through Elkhart USPS ever again.

I live off cr1 in Elkhart by Arizona av Cardinal ,Florida av and Carolina 46516 area we do not get our mail till after dark I'm a senior citizen and and get ready for bed early used to get mail around 2:00 pm what happened don't like to leave mail out over night can something be done about this.....thanks

I have called about three times from this address about getting other peoples mail and neighbors getting mine and it happens quite a bit. I have been waiting on some important mail and come to find out it was sent back to sender undeliverable twice, this is getting old. I finaly got what i was waiting for today. My neighbor brought it over.i would appreciate the mail person delivering my mail to me and not the neghbors. Thank you

I sent a big Manila envelope to a business with time sensitive material almost two weeks ago.When the person from the business inquired the Carrier told her that he may have sent it back he did not if he did..What is that?this was a first class portage.Why is it treated like a no class situation?this is not except able...

Ok so today I put the food outside my door under a covered porch in the bag provided to be picked up by the post office..... My postal delivery man took the bag and placed it on my curb net to the street?!? I’m thinking they must be following him to pick the food up.... this was before 12 PM. I just happen to look outside...it’s now raining and the bag is still on the curb!!! I have boxes of Mac n Cheese and probably a few other items that shouldn’t get wet!!! Called the post office no answer! 😡

I been experiencing loss mail this recent months and it seems that USPS services has decline to a point that I'm starting to wonder where they are getting their hiring from?

Yesterday a small package was left at my door. The mail carrier rang the doorbell but was gone before I could tell the carrier that it wasn’t for me. The package was for an individual in care of a neighbor several houses away from mine. The package was neatly addressed with the correct address and my house number was scribbled to the left of the neatly written address. The house where the package belonged is set back from East Jackson and should have been delivered before the carrier reached my home. I think the carrier missed the correct home and left it at mine. Several months ago a package was misdelievered and never did reach me. My faith in the USPS is declining.

This is the second time I’ve put my mail in the mailbox by cvs on Nappanee ! The first time my checks didn’t get to destination so I had to stop the checks to a tune of 70.00 !!! Now I’ve sent out 9 bills same mailbox cvs at Nappanee and 5 have gotten to destination but the others haven’t. I mailed these feb 17th!! Look I’m not shelling out 140 dollars because these checks got lost or dropped. You would think a mailbox at a heavily travelled area would get there. In all my life of 60! Years I’ve never had issues. You guys are government paid and at a good salary ! Whoever does the pickup at cvs on Nappanee needs to get it together . And if you are reading your emails listen to us and do something about it . I couldn’t get away with ignoring a complaint when I worked at egh!

why doesn't anyone answer the telephone at the post office??????

I have had it with your lack of service. I called last month and the supervisor never returned my call. I’ve had lost packages and mail. I get sick of having someone else’s mail delivered to my house. I’ve talked to Bristol several times. I’m tired of delivering your mail.

I have not received mail for 3 weeks. Tried to call 3 times this morning during business hours. No answer.

Curious as to why our mail has been delivered so late at 8:30 pm on 1/17/17 and 6:30 pm on 1/18/17. Hope this is not becoming the norm.This is not a good work standard.

Keep trying to fax in my stamps by fax form. I was told fax was broke down for over 6 months and last time I was in there I was given a new form and told the fax machine was working now. I work at a fast going business and don't always have time to go stand in line for 30 min just to buy stamps. Please get this fixed.. You shouldn't offer a service if you can't follow through with it.

Why is it that when I try calling the elkhart office on Saturday open hours, no one answers and machine is off?

We are the training route in the city and have a different mailperson everyday.Sometimes they deliver if we are lucky enough but it's not always the right mail or it looks like they have held it for days before delivery.My magazines that I pay for don't come on time and if they do show up they are ripped or torn.I don't know what is happening but they need to get it together.

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds....if only these words were true. It should say: we lie, we don't care, and will deliver or pick up your mail when and if we please...oh and maybe we will deliver it to the correct address. No mail delivery/pick up today, non yesterday because it was a holiday, and apparently Saturday was out of the question because of the weather. Instead we got this message on our ebay shipment summary for a package we were expecting: Notice Left (Receptacle Blocked)...hhmmm if the "receptacle" was blocked (which it was not) where did you leave the notice???? What a joke. Wish i had a job that i didn't have to do my job and got paid way too much to not do. That's our great government hard at work. And to reply to vvvvvvv apparently anything they want to do is legal. Gets you no where to call and complain or even take time to go in person to get an answer to a simple question. They will just lie to your face to give you the answer you want to hear and get you out the door.

It is 5:40pm Feb. 5 and we have not had mail delivered to our culdesac since 1pm Feb.3. Is this legal?

Why you gotta pay 40 bucks to change your address online but can come in and fill out paper for free...Makes no sense,the roads are too bad to be driving that far...
