Very disappointing!!
DO NOT go for a passport appointment. They cancelled my son’s appointment, then turned him down for being 4 min late. 2 times wasted. There was no line and refused him. Very disappointed and they are totally unreliable!!! Tinley park PO is going downhill fast!!

Every time they get a day off cuz of holidays the next day we never get mail and on some Saturdays the same. It is ridiculous. So if you’re last to get your mail good luck getting it after their days off for holidays or certain Saturdays

Clearly the worst Post Office. Their best employees have transferred to other postal locations. I went there today and was denied service. They claim they do not scan item into the system anymore.

During the past two years the service at the counter has been terribly slow. Aside from that, the outdoor mailbox has been damaged for over 6 months and still not fixed. How embracing! A DO NOT USE sign has been taped onto it. Just fix it!!!
Today the dandelions in front of the building are over a foot high! Why has this post office become so low class compared to only several years ago? Again, how embrassing.

Why is mail usually delivered late evening - 7, 8, and even 9 P.M.? Some days no mail delivery at all. I’ll have a piece of mail to be picked up and I know the mail person never came because the mail to be picked up is still in my mailbox. This is getting to be the norm these days with late mail delivery.

Ever since Tinley got a new postmaster a few years ago service went south. Senior employees at this location were replaced with USPS employees from other locations & given preferred positions. The past 3 years service has been terrible. USPS blames it on lack of help rather than poor leadership/management.

Went today to get pic and passport started. Told camera broke, walk to Walgreens 4 blocks I was told. It’s over a mile, it was 4 degrees out and I’m on a cane. I started to walk thru icy parking lot and decided to go home,called a Lyft and went home. I wondered why he smiled and said 4 blocks and someone else said , 4 blocks?

I have lived in Tinley Park over 40 years the counter service this week sucks twice I have been to the Tinley Park office and the line is out the door and only one person is there at the counter each time let’s get something straight post office you are there for my convenience and not the other way around get more people working that counter

I'm expecting a package from a dear friend. Post went answer the phone, went down there and was treated like I was at the DMV. No one to complain to or get answers of where my package is.
Is there an alternative?

Over and over problems with this post office. Tonight I was waiting for a priority box. Had my tracking. We were all home. Waiting for the box. Got my text that it was delivered at 7:12 pm. Left in the mailbox it said. Very interesting. Drapes open. We’re in the living room but the security camera over the garage that shows the driveway all the way to the street and the mailbox. Mail truck was never on there. Plus the large priority mail box would not fit in the the mail box. Watch your mail. We have sneaky postal workers

I was at the Tinley Park post office the first week of March to complain about 3 items of missing mail. I spoke with Tom. Since then I have 1 more important piece of mail from Chase missing.Today 3/20 I received a call from Dr office stating my mail was returned marked no such address. No one will answer my phone calls at Tinley Park PO. This is terrible service I have been receiving. What is going on. I am a senior and supposed to stay inside! Respond please!

This will not be a good review. We mail a payment on Sept 26, 2019 because we were going out of town and wouldn't be home for 2 weeks. The mail was picked up near LaPorte Rd and LaGrange Rd and needed to go to 159th St in Orland Park. Today we received a late payment notice because the payment was not received until Oct 14th. Really?? Really? It takes 18 days to go about 5 miles! And now we are charged with the late fee. Everyone who receives late payment fees because of the post office errors should take them to the post office!

Called Tinley Park post office today regarding package deliveries recently left by garage where they are out of view from us so we don't even know they are there! One was electronic
and luckily undamaged. Employee that answered was exceptionally understanding and courteous. Hope the deliveries are corrected and reach my doorstep.

Mailed Easter cards on March 29th and they weren't received until April 10?!! One was here in town mile from post office, other to Orlando Park 3 days late. Lost count to So. Carolina.

I never get the local store's sales papers until Friday afternoon. Why don't I get them when the sales start on Wednesdays? They use to come on Tuesday so that they would be in time for the Wednesday sale.
