Dropped off a prepaid small flat rate Priority box on Dec 15 and recieved a receipt. Got a message from the customer on Dec 24 that it had not arrived. No information on the tracking number except "In Transit, arriving late". Dec 26 and it JUST arrived at the distribution center in Elk Grove Village! Now I'm just hoping the box and item is not damaged at all and it will get to its destination soon. Two other larger boxes were shipped from this same location on Dec 16 and arrived at their destinations late but in time for Christmas. I know the Post Office has been severely hampered by the pandemic, more holiday shipping and the administration, but this is beyond that. I'll be going out of my way to the bigger and better post office in Montgomery from now on.

A bit of a problem...I mailed a package on either November 6 or 7, 2018...media mail...I sold a book on Amazon...so I have a tracking #: 954901041011090418...Buyer says it never arrived...I checked the tracking site and here's what it says... "Tracking Number: 954901041011090418 Status Information Available Soon USPS doesn't yet have a status update on this item shipped from the Post Office. Information is usually updated within the hour of your visit. Please check back soon." Any ideas as to what to do next?

I just found a piece of outgoing mail that was sitting under the mail that had been delivered over a week ago. I didn't realize I was supposed to check every time to see if the person who picks it up is taking the outgoing mail. That's nice now my ComEd bill looks like I do know how to pay by the due date.
