For years our mail arrived by 1pm at the latest, now it arrives close to 5pm. I see UPS, FedEx and Amazon deliveries all day long, still the tortoise method survives on our $$$$. Privatization is long overdue!
I have tried to contact the Oak Lawn Post Office who mailed my envelope via priority mail. I have called the 3 "800" numbers on my receipt. When I check tracking, there has been a response since 3/17/21 saying "delivered to agent for final delivery". I completed the form for email notification letting my know when the envelope finally arrives. NONE OF THESE OPTIONS OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE.
WHAT DOES "Delivered to agency for final delivery even mean?" PLEASE RESPOND!!!!
As usual USPS failed to deliver my package! They have lied (once again) about a delivery attempt yesterday when I was sitting at home all day yesterday looking out my balcony door and not once did anyone attempt to ring my bell nor did I see any USPS workers at the time of this "attempted" delivery. Then I check again and it looks like my package was sent back to the post office in Bridgeview??? Why when I live in Oak Lawn...this is ridiculous and highly unacceptable. It makes no sense that I can't receive my mail in a timely and ethical manner. Instead USPS lies about delivery attempts and they better not lose my package!!

Hi I was just mailing a letter at the mailbox at the corner of 97th St and Keeler Ave in Oak Lawn.The box is full up,I could barely get my letter in.I think the post office should arrange a pick up at that box quite soon.Thank you for your essential service to our community.-Norman
Is there a problem with delivering mail to Crown Mortgage Company located 6141 West 95th Street Oak Lawn, IL? So far this year I have received three late fees ($55.15) for payments being delivered late when the bank mails them out 10 days before Crown Mortgage says they get them! I have made five payments via my banking system and four out of the five received their checks and cash them before Crown Mortgage gets their check from the post office. For example, my lawn service and Crown Mortgage was paid via the system on the same day (August 8th). My lawn service received their check and CASHED it on August 14th when Crown Mortgage (Oak Lawn Post Office) did not deliver the check to Crown Mortgage until August 20th!!! The bank mailed the checks out on August 10th. This cannot keep happening.....!!! In looking at messages below, there is clearly a problem in your delivery or sorting services that MUST be address. Please investigate!
Never got my gas bill for Aug. called it was sent out 8/17been getting other peoples mail in the 5700 Circle drive block in Oak Lawn. also had packages for a neighbor delivered too my address. What is this new mail man doing? can't read? I also get other tenants mail in my mail box. My old mailman retired. miss him he never made mistakes like this.
60453 what's up with the delivery of mail in the 9700 block of Normandy? Everyone had someone else's mail this week. It was like they never looked at box address. My box was full with neighbors...good thing we've lived here a long time and know most of our neighbors.
I was supposed to receive a pkg today 1Z97AE1YW39115753 and the deliverer rang my bell, when I went downstairs I saw the deliverer getting into his truck but no package was left, my e-mail account said the package was delivered, but it wasn't!
