Please cut and trim the grass around the building. The La Grange Garden Club takes care of the flower beds and the pots but you can hardly see them because the grass is too long and is full of weeds. This diminishes their efforts to make the Post Office look cheerful and inviting. There are also two plastic bins under a tree along Hillgrove next to the parking lot that have been abandoned and have been sitting there for over 10 days.
It's embarrassing to think that passengers riding the Metra train view La Grange as unkempt.
Please help by maintaining the outdoor space.
9-28-23. this is the 6th time i have called lagrange highlands post office this year. We are a business and have outgoing mail but have had to call to see why no one comes. ive been told that you had no mail to deliver so carrier didnt come. i advised this facility that just because they have nothing to deliver that is inexcusable as we do have outgoing mail. Today i called for the 6th time to find out memory full and i can not leave a message. This is absolutely rediculous. This branch is AWFUL
On October 24 mail hold was delivered to my mail box. 44 envelopes 10 magazine holiday catalogues 8 charity solicitation packages 9 political flyers and one Uline heavy catalog were jammed in my standard sized box. I could not retrieve my mail without ripping and damaging the mail products. Postal workers deserve so much credit ~ just not this one.
We have been told that our regular postman has been transferred. We are not happy that after being on this route for such a long time and reliable that you would change.his route.the new person delivered mail at 4pm 3 hours later then usual .

I waited in line for over an hour to mail a package. The service was beyond frustrating! Absolutely no help! One person at the counter, over 15 people in line. Ridiculously understaffed and unhelpful.
I picked up mail on Thursday, April 15 and have not received mail in my box since that day. I'm wondering if they put me back on a hold status. Please deliver mail. 5721 Laurel Ave, La Grange Highlands, Il.
Thank you.
Two days in a row we haven't received mail nor have my priority packages. I am so disappointed with the postal service. For the cost of shipping we should have way better service. I live in a mobile home park and I hear many neighbors complaining as well.
I am not receiving all of my mail!! I have been waiting for over a month for a letter from DHS and from IDES. After calling both, they said they have been sent out. I get others mail and packages all the time. What's the problem as of recent?
I visited the LaGrange Illinois Post Office today to be greeted by what I feel was a rude Clerk. She was on her smart phone text, or something she found more important than the paying customer in front of her. I stepped up to the counter only to be greeted by her looking down without acknowledging me. Persons like this woman need to find employment where they do not deal with live humans.
Our regular carrier is wonderful and personable. We haven’t had him for
About two weeks. Our mail is usually here between 1:30-2:30. Now the substitute can’t even get our mail to us by 6:30 pm. It’s ridiculous. Hire some competent people please!
after 2 days of trying to track a 2 day priority envelope with the wrong zip on it, it finally landed in LaGrange, IL post office. On a Saturday morning LuAnn answered the phone promptly and listened to my sad story and proceeded to search for my lost envelope. She did find it - corrected the zip and sent it on the correct address. LuAnn you are my hero!! Can't thank you enough.
I would like to thank Vivvi for her kind, courteous and efficient assistance today at the LaGrange Post office. Due to her prompt attention my mistake was rectified and I am very grateful for her willingness to assist me on such a busy morning... it is always a pleasure to work with the entire staff at the LaGrange Post Office.
Went to the La Grange post office on Saturday 01/04 at 2:15 (closes as 3:00). There were 3 windows open in the front and 1 in the back. As I was waiting 2 of the front employees left and closed their stations with a line continuing to form. After waiting for a family of 4 to apply for passports I was next in line when the female employee called over someone on the other side of the room to work on her passport. Unclear what was happening in back of the office but someone was working there. I had been in line for a almost 15 minutes when I stepped up to see if there was another spot opening. The female postal worker rudely reprimanded me in front of other customers and told to "step back" as though I was trying to steal someone's information, I was at least 4 feet away from the customer. I immediately left and went to UPS. I don't expect to be treated like a delinquent child while I'm standing in line waiting for service. I was with my daughter who told me the same woman had given her a difficult time last month when she was picking up a package. I will not return to the La Grange post office where government employees are this rude.
