Three days in a row I received no mail however I had mail in my box to be picked up...had to chase mailman down today to take outgoing mail..is there something I should be doing differently?

Its 4;30 pm and still no mail usually runs @1:30 -2:00pm Is it because of the holiday this week? Ie 4th of July? A heads up would have been nice.

The service from the many postal carriers we now have delivering our mail, on our route, certainly has decreased. The mail carrier we had for many years would carry packages & mail to our door, ring the door bell & hand all the items to us, if we were home. If we were not home, the mail carrier would leave the package at the door & put our mail in the mail box. Lately the carriers bring the packages to the door & leave them at the door, not attempting to actually deliver them to a recipient, while leaving the mail in the box. Today, the mail carrier did not even bring the packages to the door, just left them at the end of our front porch. Customer service certainly has decreased. Very sad.

This is an excellent post office, employees are reliable, serious, hard working, and very affable. They like helping their customers. They are polite and kind.. I want to thank them and the management for having such a wonderful staff.

Missing mail, late mail, mail found on front lawn.
That basicly sums up Grayslake Post Office.
Yes, they are polite when talking to, however the incompetence is mind boggling.
