Ordered a ceramic bowl and it was delivered today. The package came smashed, even though it had a 4"x6" Fragile GLASS sticker on the box to the right of the USPS address label. Postmaster told me that if the package had arrived at the Lake Villa post office that way, they would have tagged it as damaged when received. There was no such tag. Why is our post office so bad at handling and delivering mail? And also not friendly at the counter when you go to ship a package. I no longer ship from Lake Villa for that reason, I go to either Antioch or Grayslake where the counter people are friendlier and more helpful
I submitted a vacation hold on 8/18/22 for 8/27/22 to 9/6/22.
The post office held half of my mail and delivered the other half on every other day during that week. I had a neighbor check my mailbox while I was gone because the USPS had proven to be unreliable on previous occasions. I am done with vacation holds.
Two weeks before vacation, my wife's banking statements were delivered to a different address. The people there opened the envelope and then taped it shut with a note that said they only looked at the address. My wife is still dealing with changing accounts and direct deposit stuff.
I have the "Informed Delivery", so I get an email every day showing what I can expect to get delivered. Most days I get what the email says, but often some of the items show up a day or two later.
Everything is fine because they explained to me,
"Sorry, I don't know what happened"
I have lived at my address 6yrs. New post woman has not delivered my mail in 5 days. She said she won't deliver unless the name is on the box.. it's been on there for,, 6yrs.. lazy, person is rude and obnoxious.. rainbow hair.. so you know who it is...
I ordered some clothing that was supposedly delivered but never received the package. I filled out service request #33009741 was never contacted about the where abouts of my package, seller would not help at all since it was considered delivered. Spoke with Sandy 3 times who told me only Lidya can help. I have been calling since before Christmas and never was able to reach Lidya. I have lived at this location almost 14 years and never went through anything like this. Seems like no one can or will help and I am now out $69.90 for a product I never received. I know times are rough with this pandemic and lack of personnel to help. But this is just terrible and frustrating since there is no one that wants to help resolve.
I don't know what is going on with our mail delivery- but it sucks!!!! For the last (3) Tuesdays in a row, we have had no mail pick up- again! I have called twice to complain, I have emailed my complaints, but this issue isn't being resolved. It is ridiculous that our mail isn't being picked up or delivered daily! We own a business, so there is always mail coming and going. I am at my wits end on who to complain to next!
I missed receiving a package because the postal carrier didn't ring my doorbell. We'very been home since Governor Pritzker established the Stay At Home Order, very frustrating. Please ring the doorbell for deliveries requiring a signature.

I had very poor customer service with my mail carrier checked my door where the mail comes through there is nothing in the way whatsoever talk to the person very pleasant on the phone but very rude customer service due to the my career
Can you please train the carriers better so I do not continue to receive my neighbors mail on a weekly basis. There is an orange sticker on the door to even remind the carrier. I do not want to sign up for an account with USPS to receive my mail correctly? Why does this continue to be a problem. Can you please get it right soon?!
I am trying to notify someone from USPS that you are not to come for a pickup at my house. The general number has a wait of 30-50 some minutes. Walmart was supposed to notify some to stop this pickup because they have now sent me a label for fedex pickup. Once again Walmart has not done their job.
