My husband and I are property owners in the city of Potlatch. We have been forced to pay for our mail via post office box because they do not deliver mail within city limits. They won’t deliver to our house even though we are in quarantine. We are late with our post office box fee and they are holding our mail hostage. We can not pay our bill because the money to pay it is in the box. My husband had to go into the post office to pay our bill and the woman refused to give him our mail unless we paid our fee. 1. I believe all these above are illegal. If you won’t deliver our mail then we should get a free box and am looking into legal options now 2. By illegally withholding our mail you are obstructing the governments ability to communicate with me. Again I will be looking into my legal options at this time. When my mother lived in this same house she was a disabled elderly woman without transportation. She had to walk daily to pick up her mail. It caused her unimaginable pain. I hope that we can get our mail ASAP. I will be coming down Monday to pay the extorted amount due but you really shouldn’t want me to because as I said we are in quarantine!!!!
