The post office mail box is completely full I wish I had not put my mail in but did not realize it was so full. It should be emptied early in mornings on Mondays snd after holidays. Ricidulous to have mail sticking out. No wonder the mail gets lost.
What is going on with mail service in council Bluffs today. It is after 9pm and there was no mail delivery on my street 3rd Avenue. I called and was told they are having issues, but no reason as to why the mail is being delivered so late. This is simply horrible service. Unfortunately tomorrow I will have to spend the day tracking down where my mail is.
Council bluffs mail personal need to go back to training..I could and would do a better job. The mailman does y wear a y inform so you never k ow who is delivering your mail for one, for two the mailman who works my block decided a few weeks ago that he wasn't going to deliver the mail at all on Saturdays but he still gets paid for it. This is just ridiculous never have I had such complications with getting my mail.
I ordered a CD that was misdelivered the first time and I got a refund for the order. Then I ordered it again and today got an e-mail saying it was out for delivery. When I went out to check my box the truck had already passed by my stop so I though it was in there. It wasn't--again--so I went to the driver and told her I was expecting a package today. She found it was still in the truck and said she missed it, so she scanned it and gave it to me when I told her my name. But this was still a mistake that could have been bad and it happened with the same item. What does this say about Council Bluffs mail delivery?
I picked up a package this morning. 2/3 approx. 9:10 AM. There was an older gentleman next to me purchasing a money order. He didn't have exact change to pay the fee for the money order. The clerk was EXTREMELY rude to him. The gentleman said he had just come from the bank. The clerk told him he should have gotten change there because they have money and the post office doesn't. He also told him that mornings are not a good time to make change. He told him most people pay electronically now. He told him he was going to wipe out all his fives so he wouldn't be able to make change for other customers. On and on and on. I felt horrible for the gentleman and I was appalled at the way the clerk treated him. I understand that he didn't have a lot of change but he did NOT need to speak that way. Or to keep going on and on about it.
I have been waiting for two pay checks that were mailed from the East coast on the 5th of Sept. I'm anxious to receive them. It is now the 14th of Sept. So I called my local post office to see if I could come in and fill out a form to hold my mail just for today, the clerk on the phone said that if I came in person and if the carrier had not left yet, he would be able to retrieve if for me just that one day. So I hurried to the post office. While standing in line I see a sign on the wall saying "Our number one priority is Customer Satisfaction." WHAT A LAUGH. The clerk informed me that I can only hold my mail from 3 days to 30 days. So needless to say "I DID NOT GET MY MAIL THAT DAY. Not to mention that it takes 20 days to get my check from the East coast to the middle of the United States. So in other words don't call the get prier conformation and then drive there because it doesn't do you any good.
If I ship an item in a priority envelope and paid for 1st class postage and pasted the label over the barcode, that envelope has now become 1st class with posted paid. Regardless if I used a paper bag to ship the item in, if posted was paid, let it ship. Your city is now banned from this company ever sending anything to it because of your poor service as a postal carrier. If you can not let a parcel that has been paid ship to a consumer, you are no longer needed. UPS and FedEx will take your jobs because of your stupidity in not allowing service even though postage has been paid in full!
