As a former RCA to this USPS location I can see why so many people are upset. So much goes on in the warehouse starting with extreme inconsistency which completely throughs off all the new comer as they can’t really learn to deliver mail to the right place if they’re constantly delivery in different routes and don’t know the neighborhood. Each time I delivered mail to a different neighborhood home owners would wait by the mailbox to complain about wrong delivery to their mailbox for years. I’ve even had to remove mail that was also placed in the wrong mailbox. Hell l’ve miss-delivered at the beginning too. Every RCA in this facility all agree on one thing, management sucks! There’s about 30 routes and a poor backup system for when a regular carrier is out any given day. They’re warehouse operation is the most insufficient system I’ve ever seen. I now work for FEDEX and it’s like the poler opposite of this location. Don’t expect things to change for the better anytime soon unless some miracle comes along.
Extremely despicable service for a government agency. We have been waiting 2 months to get our key to our mailbox. People here are extremely unfriendly and unkind!
People that are supposed to be helping us are hurting us the most!!!!
I’m closing business and requested change of address which is not happening. Have to go by old office to check mailbox that now belongs to another tenant and of course, can’t get extra key to access. Tried calling to no avail. In the past few days have no mail in box and no idea where it is ??!! What the heck!!
I put in an address change on Dec 3rd to be effective on 12-24-20. It is now Jan 8th 2021 and not one item has been forwarded. I travel to my old address daily and collect the 1st class mail that has not been forwarded. This is the worst post office I have ever dealt with.
Found an alert on my tracking info saying a package was going back to sender due to "forward expired". Seems the package I was expecting was not delivered to me, although I have lived in current location for 4 years! After chasing down the item thru 2 post offices and a hurricane and long waiting lines and power outages, I caught it at a third post office miles away. Seems carrier had "missent" the package, (though the label had my correct addy) and someone forwarded it to the old, invalid addy. I was lucky to find it as the clerk told me "it was going out the door back to sender".
THEN I get home and hubby just caught the mail carrier making the same mistake of putting someone else's mail in our box agin, for the third time this week!!! I am going to file a claim against this post office as soon as I figure out the best way to do it.
Clerks in the post office are great. However, the CARRIERS ARE HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have complained for YEARS!!! Multiple times I have received neighbors' mail and for people not in this town. I have even received certified mail for other people. But TODAY, the mail was LEFT ON THE GROUND AT MY DOOR!!!! It could have been redelivered, but no... LEFT ON THE GROUND!!!! And people wonder why the post office is losing money?
I have been complaining about this post office for years. Every time we have a package we have to go hunting for it. They have been delivered across the street, next door, a block over on another street. How does the postal system justify raising prices when the service is this bad. If they were a private company they would be out of business by now. Today another package has been misdelivered. Can't find it anywhere. Who knows if it is even in this neighborhood........
I called to try to track down a piece of mail from the government (it showed up in the informed delivery, and was probably my stimulus check, but was never delivered). I called the Snellville (Centerville branch) to see if they could help me find out what happened to it. Markita Wood worked diligently to help me. She did talk with my carrier who said that it was forwarded to my current address. Though it has still not arrived, I want someone to know how professional and helpful Ms. Wood is! She deserves some kind of recognition!
I just watched my postman sit in front of my mailbox for 5 min going through his mail and whatever else he was doing not only did he not take the mail that was in the mailbox but he didn't' leave any when I screamed at him and asked are you not going to take my mail he just looked at me and drove off. This is completely unacceptable. Why pay someone who is not doing their job correctly. My red arm was up on my mailbox I think that indicates hey I have mail in the box that needs to be picked up. Hell he was right in front of the mailbox I don't understand what was so hard about opening the box and taking my mail out then putting the arm down.
Exactly! Feel your pain! Several times the carrier has brought a package to my door, but never got the mail OUT of the mailbox. When I called the post office (to pick up my mail), they asked if the mail was located in a designated place??

Worst Post Office EVER! Horrible and rude.. dear LORD they are rude! AND a neighbor from down the street just brought a stack of OUR mail that he has gotten this week but he has received NO MAIL OF HIS OWN! Worst Post Office EVER!!
