I am definitely in favor of them closing each and every single post office!!! The people are rude and inefficient! So the next time it ever comes up for a vote!!! I will rally as many people as I possibly can to vote to close them down!

I recently went online and set up a HOLD on my mail which I have done successfully many times over the years. I have a CONFIRMATION EMAIL of my hold from USPS.com with my dates. I padded the hold by a day at each end as I had my suspicions that the hold was not being done properly. Sure enough, the day AFTER my hold started, I was still at home and lo and behold, I saw the mailperson place mail in my box. I retrieved it so once again my mailbox was empty and then I went out of town. Yesterday I came back home after a 2-week trip. This was 2 DAYS BEFORE the mail hold was set to expire, and my mailbox was already FULL with many days of mail including bills, bank statements and other first-class mail. It appeared that the mail was NOT HELD AT ALL, and there sat my personal information/bank statements in my mailbox when I SPECIFICALLY SET UP and HAD CONFIRMATION of my Mail Hold being in place. Then to add insult to injury, I get an email today from USPS stating that my mail hold will expire tomorrow, and I will receive the accumulated mail. I am FURIOUS over the incompetence, and lack of proper service execution in this instance. I am starting with this angry review, and I am proceeding farther to make my dissatisfaction known to those who should be responsible!

I pay extra money to post and ship UPS. Better customer service, shorter delivery, zero chance of getting mail or package lost. Shame

WHY IS NOBODY FIRED AT THIS LOCATION? This is the 18th time I have had mail go here and it's become LOST. This doesn't happen anywhere else. Federal Marshalls or local police need to get involved here. EVERYTHING THAT GOES THROUGH THIS POSTAL FACILITY BECOMES LOST!!!!!!!

I dropped off mail at the main post office on 6-12-2022 at Zack Hinton Blvd. at the big blue drive up mailbox. None of the recipients have received the mail. Is mail picked up regularly from this mailbox? No times were listed on the mailbox drive up. Thank you.

Who do I complain to about the mailman leaving his truck in our driveway while he goes to our neighbor’s house? I see it on my doorbell cam about three days a week while I am at work. His truck is there for 30-45 min each time. It’s not a huge deal but if he is gonna be with that hoe, he can park in her driveway is all I’m saying.

👀😬 Oh, my. I agree. If he is going to continue having sneaky links on his lunch break, then he needs to park in her driveway. I would suggest getting the license plate number or truck number, and filing a police report. He is trespassing on your property, and you have a right to report him. Unfortunately, complaining to the USPS won’t do anything. If you want results, go through law enforcement. And then come back and give us an update. ☺️

My personal certified mail was left at the neighbors house and of course the nosey heffa opened my private mail!! She said it was a “mistake”. The post office use the excuse that due to covid certified mail is just left. All they said was mistakes happen. Smfh. Now the hoe neighbor knows my business.

Horrible establishment. Had a 9am passport appointment. Got there at 8:50am. Spent almost an hour in line only to get the front of the line and told by the rude lady with the bad wig that she called me and now I have missed my appointment time and I have to reschedule! The two customers behind me had my back and was even telling the clerk that I was on time AND NO ONE CALLED NAMES FOR PASSPORT APPOINTMENTS. I wont be going back there to submit a passport application again.

I do not know what is going on with the carrrier but please refrain from making false claims of attempting to deliver a package. I can clearly see on my ring that she did not even get out the truck and then stated I request for my package to be held at the office instead. This is frustrating!

This is for the carrier that delivers mail on Emporia Loop in McDonough, GA. I've only been at my current address for 6 months and I've constantly received mail that's not for my address. Today I received mail addressed for 125, 129, 144,148, 326, 350 and 360 Emporia Loop. This is ridiculous. Please pay attention to detail to ensure that mail is delivered to the correct address.

I was expecting a package 12/4, and I went to get the package and my mailbox was opened someone had stolen that package. It was disappointing to know someone did this. I contacted the retail store and they say delivery was posted on that day. I needed to say this so that in the future the carrier can make sure mailbox is secured. I have lived at my address for 20 years and in that time period, at least once a week I receive mail for another address, on another street in my neighborhood. In just the past week, I have received five packages for this resident that I have had to take to them. I do understand that mail may get sorted out of order for the route that the mail carrier is running, but how freakin' hard is it to look at the address before you put it in the mailbox, or before you drive all the way up in my driveway and leave it.

Very , very horrible service! I paid to get my mailbox rekeyed 3 weeks ago but no one ever called to inform me that it was finished. I called to the McDonough location today to check on the status and Harold told me that it hadn’t been rekeyed yet and someone would come next week. I told him that had to be impossible because I put the order in 3 weeks ago. Harold put me back on hold and then came back on the line to tell me that they did have the key. I immediately went to the location. I walked in and no one was in line but 4 workers were engaged in conversation and they acted like they didn’t see me. So finally a black lady with dreads waved for me to come over to her station and I proceeded to tell her my reason for being there. While telling her my address, she was still holding a conversation with the other workers so there when she repeated my address back to me she said the wrong address because she wasn’t paying me any attention. She turned away to go get the key and stopped and started right back talking to her coworkers like she didn’t have a customer . Finally , she got my key walked back to her station and handed it to me and didn’t say have a nice day or anything. I paid my money there and I feel like I should have been treated way better. This isn’t just a one time occurrence. Episodes like this happen all the time with these same workers.

I went to Mcdonough post office for first time ever on 28Mar at around noon time. I came in and only one other person in room and she was at desk writing. So I went straight to first teller. . She rudely told me I had to go thru the line. That the lady that was at desk writing was ahead of me. I went to line and another teller came in and she was closer to me so I went to her. Asked if I could get some tape and she informed me that the other teller had the tape. The one that was so rude. I then said I wanted to overnite my letter. This new teller who was also rude said "Well then you don't need any tape you need to fill out this envelope. I have never met two tellers that both were so rude..I told her never mind I will send it UPS. I will never go back to Mcdonough post office. I then took my letter next day to Stockbridge post office and they were wonderful. When I approached the desk I was given a very friendly good morning. These teller need to be fired not reprimanded.I can see that many customers have been treated as bad as I was.

My daughter called this morning to tell me that the birthday card I sent to my granddaughter in Newnan had been opened and taped closed and the $20 I put in the card was gone. Needless to say my granddaughter was upset thinking I had forgotten to put a gift in her card. The only card missing money was the one that came from the McDonough post office. Someone needs to be aware that cards are being opened and some stealing is going on.

I stopped by the McDonough PO yesterday and was treated very rudely by a black employee. I said have a nice day and he never acknowledged that I had spoken. I though PO employees were to treat everyone the same but evidently that is not the case in McDonough. I was in line for several minutes and watched the interaction between black employees and black customers. They were treated with respect, but it was not the same with white customers. They were treated as if they did not matter.

I just had another bad experience at the McDonough post office. I had ordered boxes online, like I do every month. Some of my boxes came but were left outside instead of on my covered front porch, which was an honest mistake because I'm usually always home and my delivery person knows that and we love her and she's wonderful. It rained that day so they were ruined. I needed boxes immediately so i went to the post office to get them and a lady behind the counter yells across the post office in front of all the customers that i can't take that many boxes. I had 8 of one size and 9 of another size. She told me i had to order online. I told her i did but they were messed up. She said i should have ordered the right boxes then. Frustrated, i asked her how many i could have. She told me 5 of each. I took my 5 and left. Hopefully that will hold me till i get my next order. This is not my first problem with rudeness there. The company I do business with spends lot of money in shipping with the USPS and I'm up there at least 3 times a week. I do everything I can to avoid speaking to any of the employees except one. It's sad it has to be that way.

I was notified by Amazon that my mail carrier said they couldn't deliver my small, plastic insulated envelope today and "Sorry we missed you. USPS tried to deliver your package today but didn't want to leave it unattended". Not true. We were home, saw the truck go by, and not leave anything and no attempt to knock on our door nor leave it in the mailbox or on the covered porch/stoop. I call in the morning and talk to Evee/Leevee (?) and she spoke to him twice. That day I see him doing the same and leaving. I got in my car and got him to pull over. I tell him I was home and saw that he did not attempt to leave anything yesterday and asked if Leevee spoke to him about this, he said no. I tell him this is the 2nd day that I should have received this medicine, he tells me another truck will deliver it later. I press him about it telling him it is a small package just like the ones I see in his truck and ask him to look around. He goes in the back and begins to tell me that he's quitting today, "this is too hard". He moves around a couple of crates and finds it right behind his seat. My neighbor gets home for a week away and finds 2 pieces of other mail I'd been waiting for 3 days. I hope this guy did quit. He's not a very good representative of the McDonough GA PO. No one should have to chase down their mail carriers. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Sincerely, Diane K, 484 Crosshaven Way, McDonough GA 30253

I hate what you are doing to me. I have had YOU lose $6,046 AND a drivers license in my mail over the last 4 months. I live at 1403 Waterford Landing, McDonough, GA 30253. PLEASE educate your delivery persons on delivering the mail in my apartment complex. I realize that the numbering system on the inside is different than the inside. Just get it RIGHT. If I don't get MY JOB RIGHT, I DONT GET PAID. Educate YOUR EMPLOYEES, PLEASE. Or, I may use an alternate source. MAYBE WE SHOULD ALL USE AN ALTERNATIVE SOURCE AND GET RID OF YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I changed my mail address from street address to PO Box more than 10 years ago because my mail was constantly delivered to my neighbors and vise versa. Now I am experiencing numerous issues with my mail not being placed on my PO Box. Numerous packages are scanned in the Post Office as received but never placed in my box. I submit paperwork for them to search for my mail and still nothing. They don 't even call m e back with status. They lost three packages within 5 days of scanning them into post office. the worst part is that they don't even show the care for finding what is going on with my mail. Do we have to give up using US Postal service eventually and pay a Private mail service to handle all our mail?

My mail delivery person is unprofessional. Speeds through our neighborhood, get my neighbors mail constantly and they get mine, leaves packages in the middle of my driveway (on more than one occasion I've ran a package over due to this issue). Today the mail ran at 5pm and I was to have a pig delivered that required signature and was home all day. Ran out to check my mail as he went by. No pkg in mailbox. Shortly after I received an email that stated USPS attempted to deliver my pkg at 3:36pm and that they left a notice. No knock at my door, no doorbell rand and no notice on either door. Not to mention how'd he attempt at 3:36 when he didn't deliver mail until 5pm?

We are having a problem with receiving our mail with any type of consistency. We work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM M-F and most Saturday's from 8:00 AM to noon, sometimes later. We have requested several times to have our mail delivered on Saturday's and it happens for about 2 months and then stops. We get our mail daily anywhere from 2:00 PM to after we close. We are a small company and have checks that should be delivered daily. Sometimes I get mail 2 to 3 days later than I should. We are requesting mail delivery Monday-Saturday whether our mechanics are working or not - I will be here. We are requesting a basic set delivery time (preferably) before closing on a daily basis. We are not trying to fuss but it really hurts my business.
