Requested pick up for package for MONDAY. It is now Friday. No one has picked up my Priority Mail package. I submitted a complaint, but have received no contact thus far. This same scenario has played out at least four times in the past year.
I have had packages tracked and reported as delivered but not shown up even when we have been checking the mail. This has happened more than three times - and in the last 2 weeks 2 packages have disappeared. When we have packages or mail via other carriers we have zero problems but via USPS in 30030 there are serious problems. Someone inside is stealing.

This post office doesn’t answer the phone. They also fail to deliver packages, claiming access to my house is blocked. My house is not blocked. Amazon directs me to follow up with this post office, but the phone rings then disconnects. They need to improve the service at this location.
Our entire office building has not received any mail for about a week now. We are in the 30030 zip code. Leading up to this, delivery has been very erratic and in a lot of cases totally wrong addresses. I hope someone sees this that can correct these issues.
I helped my elderly aunt change her address on line and got a confirmation that it was to take effect on 12/10. It is 12/13 and her mail is still going to her old address. The neighbors are collecting it. I call the post office in Decatur and someone keeps picking up the phone and slamming it down. I have called several times. She is scared her social security check will not come to her new place 300 miles away. What is wrong with these people?!
I am a grandmother living in Miami, FL and sent Halloween cards to my 2 grandchildren in Decatur, GA 30033 on October 29 via our post office here. Only one has been received. It is important to me that you check your missing mail locations to discover where the card is. I hope to hear from you soon.
The carriers assigned to the Emory Chase Condominiums do not seem to pay attention when delivering the mail. They consistently put the wrong mail in the boxes. I deliver the mail myself. Also, there are items I never receive. The boxes are small, no fault of the residents, so the carriers cram the items into the boxes without care for possible cards and pictures that may be part of the delivery that day. There is no pride in there job and no apparent concern for the customers they serve.
The staff inside the post office have been helpful and make every effort to be as efficient as possible.
Decatur Georgia Post Office is incompetent and rude horrible costumer service! Mr. Frank Colloway is unprofessional and can't deal with customers in a civilized manner! Robin Columbus is very rude and unhelpful! They ask dumb questions like what's Decaturs zipcode?! When you call to find a package they play the put you on hold game and never come back to you, very immature!! The Post Master should be fired along with the two mentioned above. You FAILED to deliver a package to the correct address you weren't even close, NOT EVEN THE SAME STREET! Incompetent,Disrespectful,Unprofessional government employees!! Speaking right don't make you white, it makes you professional! I will be filling a claim with your lousy company and one with the BBB!
I was in your location last Friday, March 10 and issued a complaint about my mail delivery and being picked up. Yesterday, March 14, I received all my neighbors mail and they received mine. If I had not gotten home first, I probably would not have gotten my mail for a few days. My neighbors are known for not returning my mail as soon as they get it and I had two checks in it.
the service inside the branch has gotten so much better. New manager really moves the line. I have a PO box there and live in Decatur. I manage commercial properties here in Decatur. I have had at least 10 people complain that checks are not arriving. This has gone on for months.
We continue to have issues with getting our mail from our carrier. Even though we've raised the issue with the post office, no resolution. We paid the premium for mail forwarding and never received weekly tracking or any packages for 4 weeks. Mail was to be forwarded and after visiting with the leadership, still no mail. Wish I knew how to help make it better but really disappointed.
Midway Manor complex in Decatur,Ga is having your mail carrier illegally carry my mail to the rent office. I want the people responsible to be properly charged with invasion of privacy and also possible mail theft and illegally intercepting my mail. I am a disabled person who walks with a cane and I hardly ever come outside. The rental agent said I should come and get it. I would like her and her staff charged.
I have recorded the maintenance man telling the postal carrier to not put my mail in the operable mailbox . He said his reason was because somebody is saying they are Jesus.I have video and audio evidence of that activity. The rental agent told a lie to cover the federal crime of illegally intercepting our mail and invasion of privacy. I would like them to be properly charged.
