I live closer to the Lafayette plaza post office. The outdoor mailbox has been unuseable for approximately 11 months. It is inconvenient to park and walk into the office to drop off a letter. Will there be a solution? Ever? I travel some so I have a locked mailbox. Occasionally, and this includes October 2023, a package was left on top of my bricked mailbox. AND was there for two days because I travel. This is very careless!!!!!!! I would happily stop at the post office to pick it up if a slip of paper was put in the box to tell me it package had arrived. October 11, 2023. I received a message that a package from Amazon was delivered at my front door but it is not at my front door or porch!!!!
