I want to acknowledge one of the best mail carriers I ever had the pleasure of meeting. I lived under her watch for 6 years and I am sad to be moving away from her route this month. When I first moved here I noticed right away my mail was safe and secure and under her protection. It wasn't soon after when one morning she handed me a letter with my name on it but addressed elsewhere. She said it felt like a credit card and sure enough it was an attempt to steal my identity. My mail carrier absolutely foiled a crime in progress for a malicious attempt on identity theft. I'll never forget what she said to me about her love for her people on her route. Thank you for your loyalty to your job and your route, and your people! When she said she takes her job serious, this is as serious as it gets. You won't find anyone more dedicated to their job than, Miss Julie. Thank you for 6 years of great service! Me and my four dogs will miss you. If it wasn't for Julie's quick thinking there's no telling what could've happened, but this much I know, Julie saved me and the credit card company thousands of dollars in illegal expenses! God bless you, Julie, and I hope you are recognized for your superior performance for going above and beyond your call to duty and commitment. Kind regards, Bill Mears PS. You know my address! LOL
