USPS at north port is useful when you ship the package yourself and use a kiosk; However the workers are terrible, I went to ship a package and I was going to print the label in store, little did I know they just tell you they're closed, there were workers in the store 30 mins before they closed and denied to print my label. If I would've known that their conversation was more important than helping me then I would've went with ups or FedEx instead.

My package arrived at the North Port post office on 01/03 and sitting there for a week now. Why is it not delivered yet?? Just what is the NP post doing? I can't believe this . No wonder all I can find is complains about them . Looks like nobody cares.

I am not sure who to talk to about the problem of mail delivery - person that deliver mail to homes on Roderigo Ave (zip code 342286). The person will leave down the door to half the mail boxes on the street. This invites not only mail theft but causes damage during rainy days of bad weather. Is this laziness? Or our mail delivery person just do not care about the job and have no pride in the post office?

I went to post office on Sumter monday, Oct 5 to have a large box weighed for shipping costs. The costs given was $28.10. This costs I used for invoicing my customer. Tuesday, Oct 6, I returned to the same post office after using tape to seal the box. The shipping cost was then was $37.10. I added no more to the box than shopping tape. She had written cost on box. I asked why it was $9 more. I received no answer. I would like to know why the increase and I was shipping same with using ground service. This was a $9 loss to me.

Delivery is awful on the days that my regular carrier doesn't work. Tried to file a complaint online. It wouldn't let me. Sounds like we need a new blood in the office that cares. My regular carrier is off on Monday's and I've seen the truck go by and then come back and do our end of the street. I guess there isn't any training. I checked the internet for the average wage for a carrier. About $14 an hour.

I wanted to buy 100 stamps on a sheet. Went in office. long line..2 employes. One accepted credit cards only and sold only rolls of stamps. The other teller left the office and was gone for the time I was there..about 15 minutes. I finally bought one roll of stamps and HAD TO USE MY CREDIT CARD. seems cash is no good at this post office. Your web site SURVEY system isn't worth a penny either. Could never sign on to it and gave up ater 6 tries. I'll go to PUBLIX to buy samps next time. Your office should just CLOSE DOWN. Maybe send your emplooyes to FEDEX for training and get computer help from Middle School

I've had a few issues with the post office in my approaching 65 years on this planet. Mostly I find postal people friendly and motivated to do the right thing. I would make an effort to get to know my delivery person & try not to waste his or her time. They really want to get their job done & get all mail delivered in a timely manner. Be friendly & courteous.

Since coming to Northport Fl. in Dec. 2018, much of my mail hasn't been delivered to house I am renting. I've incurred late fees & problems due to this. Is it too much to ask, the federal gov't become efficient?
