I have forwarded my mail to another address for a period of time but am still getting mail delivered at the old address. I called the post office several times and no one answers the phone. Also, we have been missing mail deliveries (credit cards, etc.) from time to time. Where is the supervision at this post office?
I order High gloss photo paper which is high quality and expensive. The pack is 9 X 12 inches and more than a 1/2 inch thick. It is not easy to bend but my Mailman does it to fit it into my rural mail box. the first time it happened all the corners were bent. Now it has happened a second time and I am not happy. Is there NO COMMON SENSE in this world.
This is for USPS information only, I am not making any accusations against Nokomis, just for your info. Last week I sent a birthday card to my son in Pittsburgh. The card included a gift card. When my son received the birthday card, he noted that glue was smeared on the envelop and the gift card was not included. I have contacted the retailer and they have stopped payment on this card...again, just for your info.
Walt, This Post Office used to have an Assistant Postmaster that had 3 convictions for retail theft and one for assault on police. The new Postmaster has finally rectified that situation. I had the same thing happen to me twice with gift cards missing out of envelopes. I started using the Osprey Post office because I knew what was going on. Back then they also had a scam going on with media mail books. No matter who they were addressed to they all went to a book dealer who sold to Amazon. I'm sure the old Postmaster was doing real well there.
