I am getting other peoples mail in my box all the time and have to take it to the right address. These neighbors tell me they get the wrong mail too. This is ridiculous. One day I found mail thrown in my driveway. Please get your carriers in order. I’m 77 and hate this.

On March 1,2023 package was posted on Amazon as delivered at 10:37am.No package.Tracking number 9361289706018665719837. I called post office that afternoon and reported. On March 2,2023 notice says left at front door or porch.NO PACKAGE! I normally have NO problems with deliveries and I love my regular carrier Rosa. I am disturbed about the loss of this parcel. Request Help!

Please ask the mail carriers in the Rocky Bayou area of Niceville to make sure the door on the mail box is closed. Thank you!

Amen, Mr LeBrun!! Same thing happens with our mailboxes in our street in BWB. I’ve asked the mail carrier to PLEASE snap the door shut but i find it open regularly. How much time can simply locking the door into position take… a nano second?!?!?!

This office delivered a parcel to "an individual" that was neither my wife nor myself, the only residents of our address. Parcel seems to have disappeared. Tried to call to see if delivery person can shed light on this case, but office did not answer any of my 10+ calls. Will try for face-to-face meeting at the office when I have time.

My neighbor just delivered 5 pieces of my mail. It was put in their mailbox. This is not the first time. She said she delivered another neighbors mail just the other day. This is a chronic problem. The mail carrier just does not care and puts the mail wherever they feel like. They will not get into any trouble and will always keep their job. When I have an important mail to send I have to go to the post office and drop it off as I do not trust the carrier at all as my letter could end up who knows where. No wonder they have lost money since day 1 and will continue to do so as they will always get bailed out and the so called service will continue.

Awful - post office returning my urgent mail undeliverable to the social security office - now I need to drive down there to pick up urgent documents - GET IT TOGETHER POST OFFICE (and no i do not have a mail forwarding that delayed the delivery) - also try to get anyone physically on the phone! Good luck!

I forgot to put stamps on the valentines I mailed to my grandchildren. When I remembered, the carrier had already picked them up from the box. I called the Post Office and told them my problem. The woman I spoke to asked for my address and said they would put the postage on them. I was skeptical that would happen, but the kids received the valentines with postage attached! (I later paid the carrier for the stamps). I was so grateful for the caring above and beyond service. We have never had any problems with our mail service.

I’ve called 5 times this morning regarding a package that was not delivered due to a insufficient address, and cannot get ahold of anyone to tell them what happened and corrected before it gets sent back to Missouri. I’m beyond infuriated and disgusted with their customer service.

Postmaster, Niceville: What is wrong with mail delivery in Rocky Bayou Estates? The last 3 deliveries have occurred at 630, 730, and 720 PM! This is after dark, in case you have not noticed. This is not the carrier's fault. He/she wants to get done, but can't due to your incompetent management. Review your routes, workloads, schedules, etc. to ensure more efficient service, or resign so that someone smarter can do your job.

My husband spoke directly to our mail carrier and came into the post office. I have called twice to the 1 800 number and to the Niceville P.O. Our problem is still unresolved. I waited all day for someone to physically show up to our home today. No one came. We cannot get our mail because the community mail box lock for our unit is jammed. This seems like a violation to me. The postal service knows that we cannot get our mail. It is locked in a box we cannot open. This is not OK.

Apparently the Niceville Post Office is a rehearsal hall for want-to-be comedians. I was 4th in line and watched the only desk clerk act as if he were a "stand-up comic". The customer was laughing but those waiting in line became frustrated as the joking continued. Finally the next person was called to his desk. It turned out the clerk knew these people and regaled the whole room with his discussion of past events and played catch up. This went on and on and the line now grew to 6 people and eyes were being rolled and grumbling was going on. When it became the turn of the woman in front of me, she turned to me and said that "she wasn't going to talk to him or ask any questions--she just wanted to get her items mailed and get out of there because she was so angry about the clerk's behavior." She must have said something about the length of the line and only 1 clerk because he launched into an explanation which all 9 people in line could hear--someone was to swipe the line every 15 min. on Sat. to see if they were needed. He continued that no one ever did this and that they were all sitting in the back, drinking coffee and watching You Tube. After more of the same, he call out for help and eventually used the speaker in the back to call. Finally someone finally came out and opened a 2nd window. It shouldn't take 25 minutes to be served when there were only 2 ahead of me and 1 being helped.

Niceville post office has the worst service ever. If you call, theres always an excuse concerning your complaint. Mail delivery is always very, very late. Today, its almost 5 and still no mail. Cant call because it is Saturday and they dont answer the phone even though there are still people there, that have to wait until all the carriers get back. Pitiful service!

I'm not the first person with this complaint and undoubtedly, I won't be the last. The phone number for the USPS in Niceville is always busy. Some one must have gotten through before. Every time I call there is no voice mail, nor does an automated system activate. I called every 15-30 seconds for 20 or 30 minutes to no avail. I tried off and on all throughout the day and only a busy signal. This is ridiculous, the USPS has always been behind the times as far as, modernizing themselves but to not have at least a voice mail is bad business. When I called the 1800 number it took quite awhile to finally speak with someone as my issue could not be resolved through the automated service. The women I spoke to preceded to tell me that it was a very normal occurrence for a USPS to have a constant busy line that is constant all day. I'm at the mercy of the company I ordered a product from concerning having to deal with USPS. It was free delivery automatically set in motion once one purchases something from them online. Otherwise, I never use USPS. It's sad because I want to support people trying to keep a good job but USPS is so inferior to FED EX and UPS.

Hi there! I just wanted to say a big thank you to Scharleen! I recently put the wrong address on a package that I mailed to my sister-in-law in Valparaiso and it was marked as 'refused'. I called your post office and Scharleen was kind enough to check and see if the package had left the office yet and she found the package for me and made sure it was delivered to the correct address within hours that day! I can't tell you have much I appreciate her kindness and for going above and beyond for me. Thanks again, Scharleen!

RUDE, STUPID and INCOMPETENT.
Kelly doesn't care, Dana doesn't care (and is VERY rude), and the idiot who actually delivers (and I use the word 'deliver' LOOSELY), clearly doesn't understand that the door on the mailbox is there to be closed, thereby keep the mail DRY!!!!
Notes scribbled on scrap paper is left in my mailbox telling me to PICK UP my mail because he's too stupid/lazy to knock on the door when the box doesn't fit in the box is the LEAST of their screw ups.
I recently tried to mail my rent check to my landlord, whose address is just up the street.
It was never picked, (presumably because there was no mail to deliver to me, so why bother to check and see if I have any OUTgoing mail, right?)
So I called to ask what was going on... THAT day, the rent check somehow made it from MY mailbox to my LANDLORDs mailbox... THAT DAY!!!
Can you say "bypassing the mail system completely just to cover your ass"?
No postmark... it never even went to the post office, straight from my box to his.
I'm pretty sure that's illegal, but when I called the office to tell them, they said, and I quote; "Yeah? So?"
Maybe I'll quit the job and business I've spent 5 years building and get me a civil service job, for which I'll be paid lots of money for not even doing the job... let alone doing it right... or well.
Gee... I wonder why the UPS is going broke?

Talked to the postmaster Kelly about here drivers not picking up or dropping off our mail. Family has lived at the same address since 1968 and never had one problem until confronted the Niceville post office about them throwing packages labeled fragile on our front porch and breaking a wedding cake topper. During the phone call with Kelly the Postmaster she said "its a internal issue and goodbye" Then hung up while I was still discussing delivery and shipping issues. I own several companies and will be changing shipping providers and also making the surveillance camera videos of there carelessness available for everyone to review online on several social networks and forwarding the recorded phone conversation with Kelly the Postmaster available as well. Her complete lack of professionalism is unacceptable! We would suggest anyone else that experiences these things come forward and share with the NEWS as well. It is quite obvious that she feels she has no obligation to the public or Companies in this area that work hard to provide jobs in this community.
