Mail to our house comes when the mail person feels like delivering...I have a informed delivery n I cant even seem to get that mail that is in transit when it says. This has nothing to do with covid this is a hit or miss mail person...I have called local office n let ring till disconnects, no answer.
The inside staff is fabulous. They are always patient and friendly.
The mail carrier is not what I'm used to. When I lived in Mary Esther she would bring my packages to the door and ring the bell. I do live on an unpaved road and there are dogs on the property but most of the time they are not loose. The mail carrier could even drive up the driveway and honk, if someone is around they will come out. That's what UPS and FedEx do.
Here they get left by the mailbox or even worse they leave a notice that I need to go to the post office to pick up my box. If I could physically use a cane to walk with and carry a box that wouldn't be an issue, but I can't.

My Saturday carrier dropped off packages and broke an expensive ceramic flowerpot and another cheaper one. Didnt bother coming to the door and say "I'm sorry" I broke your plants". Drives like a maniac EVERY day.
What's the point of having a direct line if you never answer and it goes straight to the operator and just ring, pregnant have a 5 month old and two 7 year olds I don't have the energy to lug all my kids in the car to talk to a manager when I could easily do it over the phone
I moved out of a shared home for a few weeks, never forwarding my personal mail. The person living at address asked “his friend” who is the mailman to stop putting mail in box. I was gone 8 weeks. Now back since May and I only receive mail when I complain. There has to be something I can do to have this person leave my mail alone. Just do your job and give people their mail. A relationship between a couple on your route should never be reason to toss my mail. I have no idea where this mail is, or how to get it. It would be nice to have more ways to contact someone in charge other than posting a review!
Everyday we get an email from the usps showing pictures of what mail we are receiving that day. Some days we get it but more often than not it is two or three days later. It seems like our postman runns on his own schedule. Sometimes i see him running his route on Sunday, like he just didnt do it or get finished Saturday and just stopped. Also it is rare that we get our mail befor 530 in the afternoon. I have asked about this and the reply i got from the postman was "well someone has to be at the end of the route ". Even though that was a funny answer and i understand that. Mail should be delivered during business hours so we can take care of time sensitive items. Maybe he should start his deliveries earlier since he cant seem to get them done on time
I have had wonderful service at Windsong Dr. I guess I have been lucky but looking at all the negative and knowing my good experience, I had to say something. Even at the post office my experience has been wonderful.
This issue happens much to often. Today the postal delivery employee again failed to pick up important mail and packages at 5800 Aviation Drive which was put in the box and flagged before 8am. It was discovered at 5 pm. I don't know if it's poor management or poor employee performance and with all the problems with the Milton Post Office it could be both.
Today, we were expecting delivery of an IMPORTANT item via USPS. I waited at home all day for the delivery and no one every knocked or rang the doorbell. I found a Delivery Attempt sticker which stated Sorry we missed you. THE USPS DRIVER DIDN'T KNOCK OR RING THE DOORBELL. I HAVE THE VIDEO AND I AM UNBELIEVABLY FRUSTRATED WITH THIS FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY BY A POSTAL EMPLOYEE.
Monday Nov 19th; Saturday Nov 24th; & Monday Nov 26th. I have had letters in my mailbox to go out. Flag is up. I have also noticed that my neighbors mail is not being picked up either. If that is the case, where is the mail we are supposed to be getting? This is the time of the month that I start receiving next month's bills to be paid. I have my mail in the box with the flag up around 5:30 a.m. I contacted the post office Mon Nov 26th to ask & I was told by the postmaster he would return my call. No call back.
I often get mail that is not mine. Yesterday (9/24/18) I got a notice of attempted pkg. delivery. It was dated 9/21 and said pkg would be available for pickup after 9/22. I went online to track pkg and it was listed as having been left on my porch 9/21. I was home and that did not happen. We need more reliable people delivering our mail.
I placed outgoing mail in my mailbox at 6 AM Friday, Sept 7, 2018. At 5 PM the same day I checked my mailbox and found the same outgoing mail still in my mailbox, flag still up. I reside at 6266 Alegre Cir., Milton, Fl. What happened?
We moved and we done a forwarding address, we are having problem getting our mail. I have had to call all of our utilities so we don't have them cut off. We went to the Pace location and come to find out there was a renter with our last name with no forwarding address. We need help.
We were out of town last week and the mail was on hold. I went to the post office Friday and picked up our mail and stopped the hold request. We got mail on Saturday. No mail Monday or Tuesday even though USPS informed delivery said we had mail both days. My wife had medical equipment due Monday. WE NEED RESPONSEABLE MAIL SERVICE.
Services are misleading.
Sister sent me a package from New Jersey to Florida as overnight by 3pm next day delivery. It got there 3 days later. So, By then I had flown back to New Jersey and the package was marked as return to sender. That was 10 days ago and the package is still sitting in Florida at the. SAME post office in Milton, Florida. I suggest using professionals like Fed Ex of UPS from now on.
