No service with attitude. "our computer are down" I can't help you. Go to the other post office out of the Island. How about sorry our computers are down and how can I help you? We were trying to show our proof of identity to the female clerk at 11:15 am, January 18 2023, in order to get our mail transferred. Here is another way: What if the clerk would have said. No problem I can take your information and when our system will be running up again I'll do what need to do. We believe that "less she does, simple it is for her and she get paid". She evidently doesn't care. We hope that eventually this clerk service will be replaced by a robot with a smile and it will be programmed with multiple variations that a normal service required when facing a very simple demand. As it is, this human is proving the entire perception of civil servant/pencil pusher attitude with a no value. Don’t ask her to say: “Ask not what your job can do for you – ask what you can do for your job?”, providing a better service. Paraphrasing JF Kennedy. We all know, why UPS and FedEx exist?

Hi. I called several times to have a simple question answered at 4:25 through 4:30 and the phone just kept ringing no answer. The phone was busy at 4:23. Why is it that no one answers before the office is closed?
