This Post Office ROUTINELY delivers mail and packages to the wrong house (in one case 1.2 miles away, in another they sent a packaged addressed to a house in FWB out of town, to end up in a town 316 miles away). Right now, they are holding a package that was tracked as "Out for Delivery" on 3/15/24, but as of 3/22/24 that package hasn't arrived. A service request and calls to the 800 number have not yielded a response and the local number is never answered.

I agree with everything being said. I have a package I can't get out of the mail box. It fit in from the back but not out the front. Second time this has happened. I have more mail delivered for people two streets over than my own. Packages dropped off at wrong because they can't see it's a 0 not a 9. Call the phone number for what to hear it ring then start to get busy signal. Worst ever

😡😡😡 For some reason our mail lady on Pocahontas drive will NOT get out of her mail truck to deliver certified mail, when we are sitting in the living room watching her. This is a problem! Neighbors across the street were I. Their driveway and she did it to them as well. This HAS to STOP. When I call ft Walton post office no one will ever answer for us to clear this matter. My next call is to Grand Post Master

The Ft Walton Bch PO is the worst. I live in a gated community and some inconsiderate driver knocked over a community mailbox where some of us get our mail. The PO has stopped delivering our mail. Even though this mailbox is the responsibility of the PO to maintain. That was nine days ago and no action taken by them. They put on one Amazon package tracking that the customer requested hold, never requested by me, another they said addressee unknown and address unknown, returning package to seller. WTF! What Tom Foolery is this! Welcome to the Twilight Zone with this PO! I've complained about Amazon packages that have not been delivered and received an eMail from a so called supervisor that I would receive my packages yesterday. Guess what - NO DELIVERY! This PO is deplorable. And they won't answer their phone when I call, and I've called more than ten times.

I would like to thank the postal carrier operating truck 1213560 for pulling out in front of me on Beal Pkwy and then shooting me the bird when I honked my horn. Real safe and real professional

I am receiving emails with a copy of the mail from a prior address from over a year ago. Their incoming mail is fraud for me to be viewing yet it wasn’t stopped when I put in my change of address AND the house was sold and put into her name. I would consider it fraudulent if someone was getting a copy of my incoming mail. I have Called several times to resolve this matter with no help or even an answer.

There has been an ongoing issue with the female mail carrier, delivery person for my apartment complex constantly wanting to make false claims in regards to delivering packages to my apartment just because I am on the 3rd floor. I cannot help that the apartment complex that I live in has chosen not to provide an elevator, I feel the pain every time I have to bring stuff up-and-down 3 flights of stairs. Essentially it is the job that she has chosen and to give false claims on reasons that things could not be delivered to my apartment is ridiculous. I have spoken to the postmaster several times in regards to issues such as this and yet she still has her job nothing has been resolved and yet again I have another delivery this time unable to deliver because no access to front door yet again I live in an apartment complex and have 2 stairwells that is open that lead to my door.

Worst Service I have ever received from any Post Office I have ever dealt with. I have called repeatedly about my mail being misdelivered. The Post Master did not have an answer. I guess I'm simply asking to much, but once again a neighbor has delivered my mail to me. I have reported to Amazon more than a few times that mail reported as delivered by the Post Office has not arrived to me. I will sometimes be delivered by a neighbor days later or not at all. Calling the Post Office does me no good. I'm have no idea what to do any longer.

Occasionally our mail arrives damp/wet? Is there a reason why, our mailbox is located in a garage and well above ground level and would definitely correct any issues to keep our delivered mail dry, please correct this issue! Thank you

Our postal service is horrible. We receive mail that isn’t ours, regularly. We do not receive our mail, bills due have accrued late fees due to our not receiving our mail. ( I am now proactive about ensuring bills get paid on time without the mailed bill. I almost had my insurance canceled for non payment because my bill never made it to my address. This would have been tragic.) Our carrier has delivered as late as 7:00 pm on some occasions. Please help.

Either someone from this post office lost a piece of mail I sent to my sisters there in ft walton beach that had money enclosed or someone from the postal service lost it somewhere between Georgia and Florida...or it was stolen! Either way, the postal service owes my sister that money!!!! And the crap going on between the postal service and the government about finding has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with these people not doing their jobs correctly!! Since all the mess about covid and government funding started, their service has gotten sorry! There's NO excuse!!!

I am EXTREMELY frustrated with this post office. I have been receiving my prescriptions via USPS ever since the COVID outbreak and for the last 2 months they have either lost them or put them in the WRONG mailbox. These medicines are necessary for my health. This is NOT acceptable. I spoke to a gentleman yesterday because my tracking number said they were scanned and delivered to me on 8/1. He took down my phone number and I haven’t heard back from him and NO ONE will answer the phone now! I understand times are hard but these are my MEDS, not just a birthday card or the gazillion flyers we DEFINITELY get every week.

I just read a comment about "lazy" postal government employees. I am not a postal employee and the only time I worked for the US government was four years in the Navy, (Vietnam veteran). The USPS is made up of people who work like hell. They're courteous and 99% of the mail gets through with no problem. For those people that think the private sector is the answer to everything, thy DHL. There's a good 50% chance your delivery will get where it's supposed to go.

Yet again I have another card stolen. They delivered an empty envelope. Who does this, how is this acceptable. To continuously steal mail. Who steals people's cards and delivers an empty envelope. Another way we can count on the government.

I’d be thankful that they delivered the empty envelope so that you new it was stolen and had a chance to cancel it.

Hi, Today I supposed to get package with coffee and in the morning post office wrote it was out for delivery. I was waiting for whole day and now in evening they posted on post office site that they held my package with coffee at the post office, at customer Request fort Walton beach. But I never requested this! And tomorrow weekend will start. Now office is already closed!!! So when I can get my package and who requested to hold it in post office? Irina

Like every government run operation, the USPS is a poorly run, over paid, conglomerate of lazy employees. I had a package with a tracking number delivered to my front yard mailbox, so the tracking info says, but there is no package in the mailbox. I pay money for the postal employees to deliver the package to my home, with tracking, and when it's delivered the carrier has to input when and where the package was delivered - but it is not there !!!!! Where the hell is it ????? No one answers the phone at the post office, you have to go to the office and stand in line to talk to an employee who could give a rats ass where your package is - you complain and are given a piece of paper to fill out that goes in the trash can the minute you walk out the door. Just lousy service from inept workers who don't give a damn !!!!!!!!! And talk to a stupid-visor is like talking to your dog, a lot of tail wagging but no results !!!!!!!

I was out walking my dog down Hawkins Road this evening and observed the following and felt I must respond to what I witnessed, especially after retiring from the USPS after 37 years service. Today,12/26/2015 , a postal mail carrier was delivering mail at 7:05pm on Hawkins RD. He never stopped at the NDCBU at Greystone Lane, and sat for 21 minutes at the NDCBU at Hawkins Road and Cotton Tree Court. Insteadn past years, the postmaster or route supervisor was required to give relief assistance if the carrier on any given route was going to be delivering after dark. Sitting in front of a NDCBU on narrow Hawkins Road when it was pitch black was certainly a traffic hazard. I am not trying to be a know it all, just calling this to your attention it case you are unaware of this practice. Your route supervisor also needs to be involved with getting the delivery carriers off the street before nightfall. 4.00x using I hope you appreciate my concern and input on this matter and trust you will look into why you have delivery personnel on the street after dark and hope this matter does not have to go any further to get corrected. You can respond to me at my below listed email address.
Respectfully, Steve
