I was just in the Dunnellon office to return a package. I was informed that 2 slides of tape was not “supplied”. Any other sender as UPS OR FEDEX never had a problem. I had to purchase a 4.95 roll a tape. With tape laying everywhere. It wasn’t the buying the tape, not a problem, but the rudeness was uncalled for. Now I see what other people in this small town are talking about this office.
for some reason we are having difficulties with our mail delivery, I´m wondering if we have some one new. I received several letters in one delivery that were not mine, they belonged to 3 different addresses in Dunnellon and mail for my address is put in my neighbors box. ??? Not sure why I need to pick it up there also we´ve been waiting for important documents that were already mailed over 7 business days, still waiting and its been 10. Our mail carrier is not reliable and needs to be retrained. I called P.O. and someone answered but immediately hung up, three times now. WHAT IS DOING ON????
Mail person came very late today, about 7:30 pm. Mail was delivered but did not take my Priority Mail outgoing envelope since now they would not be able to stamp with today's outgoing date and make the quoted label delivery. I paid for this package to be shipped and because their driver is late I lose an entire day of delivery. So much for accountability.
A big thank you to Dunnellon PO workers for faithfully delivering our mail all through this Covid pandemic. I have always had the best of service at the counter (15 years worth) and have had and do have dedicated, friendly carriers on our route. A few Christmases ago a sub was on our route one day. Due to increased holiday mail volume, he delivered my mail fairly late. Two plus hours later, after finally finishing the route, he came back, apologetically with a piece of my mail he had mis-sorted. That's dedication and working hard to do a good job!! I'm sure he could have just put it back in the bin to be delivered the next day. Also, my current regular mail carrier is the absolute best!
They delivered my pain meds priority signature required to wrong house or whatever someone forged my name and got my schedule 2 narcotics very dangerous! Probably didn’t I.d. Them to check my signature now I’m out of meds ! Will never use usps priority mail for meds ever again!!
This is the sorriest post office I've ever been to. I drove all the way from silver springs to Dunnellon because it said my packages were dropped off at the post office since I wasn't home. I went to go pick it up and they couldn't find it. Well apparently it was delivered again so that means I wasted my time and as for nothing. Oh and the dumbass driver just dumped my packages outside my fence for everyone to steal. My husband's package isn't delivered at all, it's not at the post office nor is it on the truck or at our house... So where the fu** is it? The women were rude as hell and just talked and laughed and didn't work at all. This is the most unorganized post office I've ever seen and the last time I'm shipping something or receiving anything using USPS. Ups and FedEx are way better. I swear anything with "United States" in the name sucks. This country is so sorry. Everytime I use USPS there's always some bullsh** bound to happen.
Not happy with Dunnellon post office. We had our mail on hold until Monday which they did resume, but did not bring package. I called P.O. Friday and clerk said it would be here Sat. Well guess what no package!!!!
Well, it has happened AGAIN !!! Two times my packages were left across the street at a home that is not their full-time home. I happened to check their porch and my packages were there. At least one of the times there was more than one package. Around Thanksgiving this same neighbor and a friend carried many boxes, to us, that had AGAIN been left on their porch. AGAIN - Tonight (Dec. 3. 2018) I checked on an order that was to be delivered on Sunday. It did not come !!!!!

Well, It is NOT at our home or on the neighbors porch and it would be too large for the mailbox. We have at least 6" numbers above our garage door. Even if people can not read they can read numbers !! This is not our regular delivery person! She is very good and knows our names and house !!!!!! I am going to let Amazon know that this is happening. UPS delivers to our home why can't the USPS subs.
This must be the worst run post office I have ever had the misfortune to use. Our route carrier refuses to deliver packages too big for the mailbox because we have a dog. He told me that he would Mace my dog if he ever found him outside. We now have to drive 15 miles round trip to pick up packages. We have complained to whoever was in charge. Th postmaster never is there or refuses to talk to me. They also refuse to take my packages to my car. I am 80 years old and in a wheelchair so I can not handle the packages and usually another customer will volunteer to help me. I can't go shopping so I order most things online so the items will be delivered to my home. I want to lodge a formal complaint against the carrier and the postmaster who allows this.
What is going on with your postal delivery?? There seems to be a different driver too often! They speed around our area like they don't know where they are!! They deliver mail at all different times of day!! After having had mail delivered here for 13 years at a somewhat predictable pace you pick up on this type of thing. After one of your drivers comes back more than once the same day (this has happened more than once)to deliver more mail, one gets nervous if he is getting all his mail. PLEASE CHECK INTO THIS. THANKS
Yesterday a package from amazon was delivered to somebody else, the comment read left with resident,well it was not this resident! My address is 11835 North Bluff Cove Path and who ever the mail person is amazon is investigating this and I hope the person in the red vehicle is fired!
I am extremely upset over my postal packages and mail being delivered to my neighbors. Today Dec. 20 it happened again!! I did have 6 months ago a wonderful mailman, now you have a sorry employee not delivering our mail. Im trying to reach your office by phone but cannot get through, so maybe someone will see this and do something!!!!
So.i wanted you know to.want.to.complain about ellin on Star two...her route description does not follow the mail..when.i.ran it.she was rude and snotty to be me and I when I called to deliver those packages I brought back ...I was given and attitude,because she told me.to.just throw the mail....and I explain when I start working there that I can't be thrown in with no.trainimg.also told her that not how I work that I check every piece of mail and take my time .so.i don't.make mistakes.she told me just to throw the mail and go...and not to come in today...how does anyone expect someone to.come in a do a job correctly under this standards Scott?....so im gonna.study to.take rca test and and when.a route come up or someone needs an actually sub,please give me a call..
