Melita answered the phone on the third ring and spent a good ten minutes helping me find the information I needed. That's above and beyond the call of duty (and WAY beyond my usual experience dealing with post offices!)

Please explain to me why the postal worker behind the counter in Cape Canaveral today had to announce to everyone in the lobby that the mail I purchased a stamp for was being delivered to the I.R.S. I controlled my emotions out of respect for others around me, but it was embarrassing. From now on I will take my mail to the drop box, and probably purchase stamps elsewhere.
