No one answers phone, delivery attempt was a spoof—University mailroom was open at time but New Haven Post Office gives the standard line "delivery attempt failed". Making final attempt today. Spent $60 to overnight an item to my daughter on Campus. Do your job people. Packages to children from family back home that do not show up are soul crushing. Mailroom was open at time of attempted delivery, 1:12 pm, so they do not know what went wrong. Mailroom closes at 4:30 pm on campus. Hopefully someone from the New Haven actually makes a real attempt to get the package there today.
I mailed 3 letters in the outside box in front of the post office on Campbell Ave, its been almost 3 weeks and none of the letters arrived at their destination.
This post office is hardly ever open according to their posted business hours, so if you have a package to pick up .....good luck getting it!
Packages are delivered to the wrong people......or regular envelopes with payments not getting to places or if they do it takes 4 weeks.
Rates just went up for this incredible GREAT service......now EXPLAIN why post offices are not open ?
The "mailman" made a delivery next door today, two large boxes. I tried to get his attention but couldn't because of very loud music coming out of his truck. I wanted to say that the packages would be stolen, he seemed to ignore me at first. He went across the street to leave another box and as he was going by me I said the boxes he left first may be stolen, his reply was "no" as he could care less. He got in the truck and drove away like nothing happened. What a complete slouch, could care less about what I said only listening to his music and leaving. First Avenue, West Haven.
Today 2/2/18 I was wating in line for 2 hrs only one customer service at tha window and no help everyone on the line can hear someone in the back not helping to attend the bunch of people in line wating. Today was a bad service
I was expecting a pack from ups sure to be delivered by the farewell post office. I want the UPS site and it said the package was delivered by my local post office at 2:32 .I went to retrieve package in downstairs hallway NOT THERE .No one rang my bell to alert be that I had a package .I live at 80 Claudia drive apt 362 this is a multiple dwelling condos with an insecure foyer .Tracking no. 1230042EYN03216601. No on answers the phone at the post office Please help thank you
Tracking number 9400109699938364405537 has not been properly scanned for delivery. eBay is now giving "defects" for this. I would appreciate it if you would somehow mark it as more than just delivered. Please make sure you scan packages so that eBayers do not get downgraded because of something your P.O. did not do. please let me know when your office adds the scan to the tracking number .... I put three letters in my mailbox, with the flag up, Wed March 15th and they have yet to be picked up by the postal worker for my neighborhood. One of them was a gift I was specifically mailing at that time to arrive on the persons special day.
