Carolyn at this location is phenomenal. I always come in to send items with my girls and she is so sweet. She even helped me big time on a mistake I made for an address that otherwise would have caused a big problem. I have been going to this post office with my grandmother when I was little. I adore it!
Today, I waited in line for 25 minutes while only one window was open. It was 1:20 pm EST, and there were 10 others in front of me. Meanwhile, the window clerk worked feverishly as the postmaster laughed and gossiped in his office located on the other side of the lobby wall. I asked the window clerk, if I could speak to the post master... He came out right away smiling with a woman who appeared happy. He invited me in his dirty unorganized office since there were 12 people waiting in line. I asked him why he did not open up another window when there is over 10 people waiting in line. He said, " The other clerk had a doctors appointment". I then asked him again, why HE didn't open up the window and help us customers rather than spending the last 25 minutes laughing and gossiping while we all waited in line and in the rain. He said, " I can't work the register". Wow, So I then asked him for his supervisors name. He said, "call the 800 number". I asked him again... I would like you to give me the name of your supervisor since this happens frequently. He said, " I dont have my supervisors name to give you". He refused to give me his super's name and then said, this doesnt happen often. This postmaster needs to be fired for deraliction of duty!
