So, I got an empty package from amazon in my mail box. They have not scanned it in as delivered so I can't request a refund. Uspsvis horrible

If you're expecting the delivery of a package, I now understand why people pay considerably more for UPS or FedEx! It's a crapshoot relying your "local" Post Office. Like so many institutions once a staple, it's headed for hell in a bucket. Good Luck

Today I received my diploma from my University. On the outside it say in big bold print Official Document please do not fold. Tell me why my College Diploma was folded I half like a taco. Making matters worse I was outside all day and saw the postal truck. Is it asking to much to drive up the driveway. No what do I do with a folded in half diploma?

Another package expected today in which no attempt to actually deliver was made: tracking states it was arriving today, then status changed to say “attempt was made but front door wasn’t accessible”. I was home all morning with full view of my front door which is fully accessible, same as it always is and know that no attempt was made. This happens semi-regularly with mail that has to pass through this post office.

This PO delivers our mail now. I get other people's mail in my mailbox on a regular basis. I was expecting a package today. Tracking says it went from the Coventry PO to the Storrs Mansfield PO then back to the Coventry PO. It is being held at the post office "per customer request" but I did not request this. I am very frustrated with the mail service.

For years I've had great service from the PO--above and beyond at times. Lately (in Storrs)--in the last year or so--they have been dropping oversized packages off at the end of a short ramp that leads to our porch. This ramp is exposed to weather, whereas the porch, 15' away is covered and keeps the packages out of sight if we're away. I've had packages soaked through till I couldn't even read the labels on the products inside. I get electronics, guitars, photographic equipment and other sensitive items that could easily be ruined. I've caught several of the guys doing this (never the same one, unfortunately) and complained vigorously. It seems to be a pattern now. Has anybody else had this problem?

Hours are wrong. Front office closes at 4:30pm

I called and was told that their hours are still 8-5? Did they maybe just close early that day, or is it one of the services above that shortened? Thanks
