Ann from Southbury. The mailman delivered the mail and he was coughing. I saw it so I disinfected the mailboxes and the mail. This should not happen. I just moved to Southbury and live in a building with many seniors.

Terrible delivery person. Things listed as "Attempted to deliver" , "Unable to access for delivery" etc. are fabricated as we were home every time. Mail has been placed in neighbors mail boxes several times. What is going on???

Called the Southbury branch today and the phone just rang and rang. Went online to USPS to get help and was told by auto-attendant that I would be on hold for over an hour. They weren't lying. When I finally got someone to pick up, they were respectful but unable to help me. Recommended I try going to HELP and sending an email, which i have done. She said that it will probably be a couple days before they get back to me. Also, they wait 14 days after a pckg was supposed be delivered to investigate. In the meantime, my package keeps getting scanned in at various USPS locations and "redirected" due to "missent". The last thing I tried was to fax the Southbury Post Office but that did not get me a reply either.

Used to get such great service through this post office, but in the last year or so it has drastically gone down hill. The 2 gentlemen who usually work at the counter at the post office are still great to deal with, but the woman who answers the phone and the mail carrier are horrible. Consistently having issues with packages delivered late and they are rude when you call about it.

Had way too many problems with the seymour post office so i had to find an alternative to make sure i got my mail and on time. I have had a po box at southbury for over 10 years and never had a problem. The access to the po boxes are 24 hours a day. The staff has always been helpful and courteous. Even had chicks delivered there without any problems.

There must be absolutely no supervision at this post office. The employees are so nasty and hateful both in the facility and when out making pickups. I have an E-Bay business and sometimes will have a small box or package that I mail from my work. My office is right next to the mail room. The postal employee looks at me like I am the devil if I have anything for her to pick up. I've heard from postal employees that they don't like E-Bay sellers. Well, guess what? Your livelihood is becoming extinct, so maybe you should be thankful for us instead of pissing on us. This week was the last straw. I mailed an item from the box outside the post office. It was delivered to my customer with part of the contents missing. I asked for photos of the parcel and it had been CUT OPEN WITH A KNIFE! The mailing labels are clearly marked as E-Bay, so I have reason to suspect it was this crew. Guess I'll be driving to Oxford since these slimeballs can't be trusted. Good work making your job a thing of the past, postal workers! Not wonder Bob retired. Who would want to work with you?
