Contacting the post office to discuss an important matter is impossible unless we are present in person to walk into the building as they will not answer their local phone. They tell you to hold for an operator and then immediately hang up the calls. We own a physical residential address along a known and accessible road with the only issue being that its house numbers are slightly out of order. Instead of persevering down the road and looking with their eyes, the carrier just doesn't deliver the items. They need to be reachable so that local residents can speak to them on the phone to help them do their job. It's outrageous that USPS makes people have to go through an automated national customer service number that then offers the option to create a case so the customer can join thousands of cases all over the state/country in a line before any concern is addressed. Fancy websites don't make up for real human customer service. Waste of our money.

We moved out of North Stonington CT about 4 months ago. The post office is not forwarding important mail like town tax bills!! We've already incurred late fee penalties as a result of this. North Stonington CT post office has been sub par for 15 years and it obviously continues. No excuse for their incompetance .

Request search/investigation for our missing mail sent to 21 Jeremy Hill Road, North Stonington, CT the last week of February 2020. It is apparent that some of our mile was not delivered. Case in point is our electricity bill from Eversource which was confirmed sent by the company the last week of February. We are concerned that there may be other one time billing statements from medical providers that have not been received.
