This is the 2nd time in 6 months I have had a problem with Amazon deliveries from you Vail USPS. I just tried to fax you but NO...you are not available by phone or fax..what a disgrace that I have to waste so much time like last time just to get an answer as to why you said attempted delivery and did not even put my items in the larger boxes for this service with a key in my box. This was a weekend delivery and I DON'T HAVE A CAR. I had to leave early Monday morning March 21 2022, This items were very much needed. And now you waste every ones time having to return them since I am not back in the 10 day window. Thanks for your great service!

I've been waiting for a legal document for a month to be delivered to my po box and it seems like it was there the whole time and it got sent back to the government. This is just unnaceptable. Now this is causing me a lot of legal problems, monetary issues and a lot of anxiety. It is not the first time that the post office in Vail decides to send back my packages for NO REASON! and also they've been loosing my packages SO OFTEN. For this year 2018 they've lost 6 packages already. Somebody should address these problems and have them solved or put new management in charge!

So I was supposed to receive an amazon package yesterday by 8 pm, at 7pm the package was "Delivered to Agent". I am staying at a hotel so I checked with the receptionists and they told me they haven't received any USPS package. I have contacted the seller and USPS and no one can give me the exact address the package was mailed to, only the "Delivered to Agent" status at Vail, Co 81657. They haven't confirmed the package was mailed to the address I have proportioned. I know the issue is not my address since I have received several packages in the last week, and the hotel has never had an issue like this. It is disgusting the lack of information proportioned by USPS.

This place is ridiculous. I am disgusted at the lack of the most basic of services... DELIVERING MY MAIL. I have had several instances of tracked packages that were "attempted deliveries" but my mail man was apparently too lazy to get out of the truck to knock on the door (I was home) OR to even write a notice to leave in my box letting me know of his "attempts". He has also fraudulently scanned packages as "Undeliverable as Addressed" even though they were addressed correctly and waiting on me at the Post Office when I showed up to investigate. I have complained about this issue to the desk employees (who have been unable to explain the mail carrier's behavior) on several occasions over the past 6 months, to no end. As far as I'm concerned, at best- my postman is a lackadaisical employee who doesn't deserve Union representation, at worst- he is conducting illegal activity by impeding the delivery of my mail. If you want to receive something important in Vail, do yourself a favor and have it sent UPS or FedEx: two organizations who don't seem to have any trouble getting items to their destinations. Postmaster: Stop asking the employees inside the office to keep taking the flak for one individual's repeated offenses. BONUS, your lines inside will be shorter once you replace this man!

This was posted two years ago, but please let me add... you have a mail man?! Lucky you. Most of Eagle County does NOT have mail delivered to their residence. Let me say that again... The US Postal service does not deliver residential mail in most of Eagle County. To have mail delivered to your home (residential mail) you need to use UPS or Fed Ex. Businesses however can receiver US mail. Complaining about your mail man when most of the entire county doesn't have one... probably not going to bring a lot of sympathy.

It frequently takes a WEEK or more for them to sort mail that has been delivered. I can track my packages and have confirmation that they have been delivered to the post office, but they take their sweet time actually putting my packages and mail in my PO Box. I have even had packages that I had delivery confirmation with a name of who had received it "disappear" for up to three weeks until I threatened to call the police for theft. It magically showed up the next day. This post office is notorious for being absolutely terrible. I'll reiterate here what several other locals have said - this post office is in shambles. I received a message saying that my package was undeliverable due to an incorrect address. THIS is completely wrong considering I have received many packages at this address. I called to discuss with an employee and the lady was COMPLETELY rude and awful. I will never use them ever again.

The fact that the mail for my complex (909 Red Sandstone Rd) didn't get delivered until 6:51 last night is absolutely unacceptable and pathetic in a town of 3,000 people. I'll be sure to remember to not use USPS to mail out any items since you have no real intention of providing even a decent service to the public. Your post office is in shambles. We went to pick up a package today at 11:30 am and the guy who works there was awfully rude to my husband and me. If he is unhappy at his job he should resign and and stick his attitude up were it belongs!
