The drop off box was moved from a spot that was convenient to drop you mail off. I asked the postmaster said it was on city property and they had to move it. The city of Fountain said it was on Post Office property. They then moved it in front of the post office in front parking. Now it's been moved to right of the building. So inconvenient

There has been a box down on the corner of Broomfield Circle and Hoedown Circle for over a month now. My mail is now being sent back to sender. There is no answer anytime I call. You would think the postman who delivers would have notified the post office of this situation, but the box has been down a month and a half. Anyone have any ideas on how to contact or who to contact to get this matter corrected?

Fountain Post Office is the worst post office I have ever encountered! They have rude and disrespectful employees who give you a dirty look and an attitude. Their postmaster called them a “rockstar crew” but I beg to differ.

Upon trying to track a package with the usps website being down at the time, I was referred to call the Fountain, Co office. The men (not singular, 2 of them) whom answered were so damn rude. I record ALL of my interaction phone calls as I have a disability with memory. Thank Heavens I did. I cant wait to give this call to his superiors. I would highly suggest Amazon, UPS, or FEDEX over stepping foot let alone calling this store. I now am understanding why the post office is so hated. Unbelievable at the rudeness, and disrespect for no reason. I refuse to divulge my real info out of retaliation as this is a rather small city. And THANK THE STARS I record my calls.

Whats with it being impossible to contact you? Why can't I ever get ahold of someone on the phone that isn't a robot?

Why is my mail constantly late? The mail carrier that delivers my mail does not deliver my mail on time. I am lucky to get my mail twice a week, let alone on a daily basis. Letters sent to me take 2 weeks to get here? really? I know snail mail is slow, but come on that slow? This has been happening for years now and I complain and complain is anything ever done? no of course not. does anyone other than me give a shit about getting my mail on time? clearly no one at the post office gives a shit. of course after this review I will no longer get any mail delivered.

I had a lost package, mostly due to my own fault. However the gentleman that works at the Fountain post office was extremely helpful. I cannot remember his name, Black guy with green eyes. He was amazing and went over and beyond my expectations for customer service. I cannot express how awesome this guy was he should definitely receive a raise. Amazing service

Horrible, I ordered an item through Amazon that was sent USPS and when it arrived the mormon postman put it in my box. Great.....it fits going in the back but how about getting it out of the front door of the mail box?? I literally had to RIP my package in half to get it out. Simply because your postman can't think or is too lazy to remedy the problem by placing it in a parcel box at the end....what a bunch of idiots......

The Fountain Post Office is the worse. I have complained about the service multiple times and the personnel. There are some of them that instead of being happy because they have a job they have bad attitudes. I have attempted to contact the inspector general but they don't seem to care either. I am now calling on the denizens of the Fountain area to see if anyone is interested in boycotting this location to bring so they can feel it. Maybe then they will be interested. NO WONDER THE POST OFFICE IS GOING BANKRUPT.

We had been waiting for a package from the post office, when our mail came, our postman said maybe tomorrow, we have the best postman, if there is a package it is delivered to the door by him, last night my son went to check to see if the garage was open, and he found a large box sitting in front of the garage door, earlier we had seen a postal car in the neighborhood, if my son didn't go outside last night that $300 box would have been gone, who ever it was didn't even put it inside the fence, or the porch, at least they could have put it on the porch and rang then bell

i have had 4 bad experience with this post office . and all four could have been avoided if they just did there job ! We just move to Fountain , so we ( me and my better half ) turned in a change of address . Fountain like the rest of the country . ( i have lived in 9 states ) we use city mailbox system . or what ever you all can it . and they did not tell me that 1 wk later when i come in to the post office to find out why am not getting mail and my mail is getting sent back . (answer from them ) we are sorry sir i will talk to the driver . 1 more week go's by and still no mail . so i go back in and what do i get but 5 letters that has a sticker on them " return to sender ." their answer this time : sorry sir we will start delivering . 1 wk later still no mail . fed-ex shows up with a letter my son mail me TWICE and was returned finally mailed it fed-ex . then today they finally tell me about the community mail box . and they told me " SIR I WILL PERSONALLY BRING YOUR KEY TO YOUR HOUSE BY 11:30 it is now 12:30 and still no key . and ill bet they never do bring me my key ! and if i don't get it today am going above all there heads and cause has much trouble for every one of them that i have dealt with .

I have had two bad experiences now with this post office regarding packages or letters that had to be signed for. The first was about 10 months ago. I was sent a registered letter from the state of Washington. I was not home when it arrived, so I received a pink slip letting me know it was at the post office. I was able to make it to the post office about a week after I got my first and only pink slip for this letter. When I got to the post office they had already sent it back! They said they could only keep the letter 14 days before they had to send it back. It had been at the post office for only 10 when I got there! Upon further investigation, they had sent the letter back 14 days after it had originally been sent, rather than 14 days after it had arrived at this post office. The second was when I received a package too large for the mail box. Once again I received a pink slip. This was once again the first and only pink slip I received. Stamped on the pink slip in big red letters were the words "FINAL NOTICE!" How is this a final notice if I never received any previous notice? I went to the post office that day (August 20th), and they told me they have had the package since August 1st! It also seems like I never get any mail on Mondays, and twice the normal amount on Tuesday. It seems very suspicious to me.
