If they were "Out for Delivery", how can they be awaiting a "Delivery Scan"?
I am writing at 8pm on 19 August. The Evergreen Post Office Has has these packages for almost 40 hours as of the time of writing, and it seems I must wait perhaps 24 more hours for delivery. My house is about 2 miles driving distance from the Post Office. If the packages were "Out for Delivery" yesterday morning, why am I waiting until tomorrow evening to receive them?
Also, sporadic mail delivery this week. This spring and summer Evergreen Post Office seemed to have fixed the issues that plagued delivery over the winter. Thanks for that. But how does it take two days to deliver a local package, and why the conflicting information - "out for delivery" - "awaiting delivery scan"? Oy.
Have P.O. Box 1898 at the Evergreen Post office that I am unable to access. If my account is overdue, I'm prepared to bring it up to date. I have lived at 29844 Lee Road for 36 years. Can you tell me why my postal delivery service has become the worst it has been in 36 years. I understand the pandemic has cause numerous negative issues. I work for a local government entity and we made it work. I’m concerned that we are missing important letters. What’s the problem and is the Evergreen post office working on solutions.
I have been trying to call the Evergreen post office on redial for 1-1/2 hrs and they are not picking up. I can't say that this is a surprise as we have horrible postal service up here. After we got a new postmaster and additional employees we were promised better service. We even got a letter from the new postmaster apologizing for poor service. Not much has changed and since this is a government run service, there is not much we can do as customers.
I am incredibly disappointed by our local post office delivery. Instead of delivering to my front porch they drop packages in front of the middle bay of my garage. This has resulted in my driving over packages as I back out of the garage. There is a sign on the garage that asks that all packages be delivered to my covered front porch. We keep the sidewalk clear and can't fathom why our wishes should be ignored at the cost of damaging deliveries. I have been into the post office before with this complaint and clearly my concerns have been ignored. Surely you can do better than this!
I’m so frustrated pissed at USPS over what’s become a deceitful pattern. I order a items through Amazon, much of it for work, and on their delivery dates. USPS simply lies about when a package is delivered. The snail mail approach with USPS isn’t the issue, as it’s a given. It’s their misrepresentation that they delivered a package when they know they didn’t. This seems like a recent issue. Originally, when I saw that they claimed the delivered an item and I didn’t receive it; I contacted my neighbors to see if it was dropped off at the wrong house. What I’ve come to realize is that USPS now falsely claims they delivered a package when they knowingly didn’t. It always takes another 2-3 days after they claim they delivered it until they actually do; but sometimes never do. I can’t help but assume they misrepresent this info to Amazon in order to mislead them that they’re meeting the delivery obligations, knowing they didn’t. USPS - please stop representing to Amazon that you’re reliable in delivering packages. I’d gladly pay more for any other service to deliver a package, on time or really deliver it, than go through the frustration with you.
A Good Samaritan brought several empty boxes and envelopes addressed to me that he found along a nearby highway along with other opened empty mail. Then today I
nearly ran over two boxes in the middle of the road. I stopped to put them by their mailboxes and one of them was actually mine. Why can’t the local carrier deliver my packages to the Dropbox on my driveway just 200 feet from the road he leaves them on? I, too, get notified that packages were delivered (from Amazon) and I go searching for them. The PO marks them delivered 24 hours sometimes longer from when I get the notification? Finally, I have found my deliveries on two other peoples porches. My Dropbox is closer and yet they drive to an empty house and leave my deliveries. Honestly, I’ve never seen such unreliable service. Maybe your drivers aren’t trained or are overworked?
We have not received mail for two days and have discovered that many of our recurring bills have not been delivered to our residence in 3 months. Frustrated and my hope is that someone out there as access to our account info. Extremely frustrated and fearful that you rural carriers are putting my family in a precarious position!
This post office has been marking all our Amazon (and probably other's) packages as "delivered" when they reach the local post office (at 5am usually) rather than when they are actually delivered to their destination - sometimes a couple days later. Beyond frustrating, seems like a very dishonest tactic to make their delivery times seem on track. I'm guessing this is the new post master's solution to local complaints on mail delivery issues...
We have had great service until the past month - which I realize has been a HUGE problem for the USPS. However, we did not get a package or two and some of our mail is missing. Hopefully, this can be easily resolved. Thank you
Apparently, without notifying anyone your are now delivering mail only 2 or 3 days a week! Put mail in mail box, raised flag, and is has sat there for 3 days! This was before last snow storm. Used to receiving some mail every day, when it is being delivered. If in fact 2 to 3 days a week deliveries is new policy at least you should have informed everyone!
On Jan 31st I came in the post office and completed a Premium Forwarding Service Application (PFS). I paid by VISA $175.20 to have all household mail forwarded to a temporary address. One neighbor has received some of our mail, and upon checking our box at my request, it was stuffed with mail. I understand there are problems, but this is unacceptable. I will Try to call the PO tomorrow, but I understand that the phone is not being answered. We are expecting tax information and this error needs to be corrected immediately. Call me at 303-902-5154. Post office left message with Amazon saying they tried to delivered box at 3:34 this morning 2nd try). Again, no pick up slip was left, driveway was easily passable and post office has not answered their phone for 5 days I have tried to resolve this problem, calling 8-10 times each day, but no one picks up, the phone is not busy. Please just deliver my box, or tell me box is available for pick up. When I tried to pick up, box was not at PO. These are items ordered for my autistic son.
IT IS THURSDAY, AND WE (like others in our area) HAVE NOT RECEIVED MAIL SINCE LAST SATURDAY. (WE KNOW MONDAY WAS A HOLIDAY.) WE HAVE IMPORTANT ITEMS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DELIVERED. This is NOT a snow issue; our streets have been plowed and the public has been driving them. What the heck??
Last evening a package of holiday breads and other perishable items was stuffed into our mail box with at least one half squashed and the other half sticking out soaked by the falling snow. It was snowing at the time of delivery but our driveway was clear. The sender sent this the day before with $24. postage so we would receive it quickly. This is completely disrespectful and unforgivable. I know about filing a complaint for damaged items but I feel this type of incident should be posted also. It is bad enough receiving our mail in the evening and sometimes during the night, but to leave a package exposed or to damage it by crushing it in the mail box is really foul.
Hello, On January 20th, 2019 (Sunday) a postal worker delivered an Amazon package to 26551 Wolverine Trail, Evergreen, CO. He was a very nice gentleman but when he backed out of our driveway the mail truck had chains on it and he tore up our paved driveway that we had repaved in the Spring. He didn't need to the chains as our driveway was clear!! I have pictures if you would like to see them. Please advise what my next steps should be....the repaving of the driveway was very expensive!! Hawling wolf dog kennel where I was receiving my mail.i am currently in Kansas due to health issues and have been for over 3 weeks. I was informed that the kennel has sense shut down and I was wanting to get my mail from the box for dog kennel, general delivery ect sent to my new address. I need to have my mail sent to me at 3806 East 13th Wichita Kansas 67208 from the address above an address change has been sent . I am in the hospital in another state and I need to have my mail removed from box that the hawling wolf dog kennel used and sent to me. hi im michael longfellow my address is 1028 valley rd.evergreen colorado 80439. have a compaint.Tim from the evergreen postal service who delivered in my area about 2-3 years ago came to me and told me to fix my mail box he was mean to take all my mail out of my mail box never to return it. this mail theif never returned the mail even after repair of the mail box2years ago. he was a real knuckel head. have a great day!
The Evergreen mail person trashed my driveway sealant yesterday. I was home. Heard the fiasco! I QUITE CLEARLY shoveled a backup/turn around which they did not bother to use. Instead they spun their tires around so badly they scraped off the driveway sealant.
Given the fact it is ONLY Feb 24 – I have had other people’s mail delivered to my house two times already. Guess what I do? I put it back on the mail so the PO can process it again. This has happened many times before both at my house and my insurance agent.
The USPS has repeatedly failed to deliver packages to me. This has happened several times now where the tracking information on the package reports that it was delivered, but it never shows up. (Obviously delivered to someone else.) Worse yet, I have received about half a dozen packages and pieces of mail that are addressed to my neighbors. I always take the time to deliver them to the intended recipient, but others are apparently not so friendly. It is really absurd how bad the mail service is in Evergreen.
The last year has sucked in Evergreen. I put my mail on hold, and never receive my packages that UPS hands over to USPS. We need to let UPS know that this problem exists. Today I went to the post office and the line is 10 people long, with only two people at the counter. Close this place, it is a waste of my tax dollars. Let private industry handle this task.
Oh boo hoo you huge baby. There are multiple private industry options in town that you could just as easily use. Take your business elsewhere and stop complaining.

USPS is TRASH
USPS is by far the worst service out there. They wont even attempt to deliver my package, all you lazy assholes have to do is drop it on the ground by my mailbox, I don't care. If you can't do that drive for about 10 seconds up my driveway and drop it off. But no, instead you fake coming to my house and say an attempt was made to deliver at 8:30. I WAS OUTSIDE AT 8:30, no truck! YOU ARE NOT TRICKING ME. Stop lying and do your job
Thanks so much for NOT delivering my packages and taking it upon yourself to decide my home was abandoned. A friend was picking up the mail while working on our house and missed it a few times so all the rubbish mail piled up.
Now I've had packages get returned to sender!

Lost packages, unreasonable delays, and rude staff. I received an email that I had an attempted delivery on a package that required no signature. I went to get it and because I did not have the pink slip I was told I could not pick it up and they were unable to find it. The package was already 3 days late and now I will not receive my package that was instrumental to the weekend vacation I had planned. When I explained my situation I was told to speak with the postmaster, who of course was out for the next 4 days. I will never use usps again. From now on I will use ups or FedEx, two companies built on customer service.
This is the 6th package of mine that has been lost in the mail. This time it was NOT FOUND! I cannot claim my package because i did not buy insurance on it! My other packages have been found because they had the address it was scanned to, this time i was told that there is technical difficulties with the scanner! This post office is very rude and unprofessional! i had to call for a week to see if my package was found and the first time i mentioned it to the lady, Stacey did NOT mention this to anyone at the post office. I can't even order packages because I'm afraid they will be lost in the mail and never returned! I'm very upset that this keeps happening!
We have lived here for 36 years and have always had great comments regarding our post office. Not so any more, not sure what has happened, but the service in the post office along with their attitude has gone down hill. At least the lady who delivers our mail is still as great as ever.
